I do love my Seawitch...but I think it's funny that when you're mentioning the big games that came out in 1980 you didn't mention Xenon or williams black knight. Those are the first two I think of.....I'd still rather play Seawtich though.

Nice! I probably like this game more than most. I just wish qualifying Lucius wasn't so tedious, and I wouldn't mind fewer layers of risk vs. reward. Between the playfield multipliers and all the jackpot building shots, it's a little much for people who prefer games with objectives that are more direct.

Vari target dont work very well

I've become a big fan of this game since discovering it on Pinball Arcade. Sadly, no arcades near me have this. *shrugs*

I'm not sure if the person that posted this video will even see this comment but its worth a shot. Do you happen to still have the machine? I have a general question about one of the items on the playfield that I can't seem to find an answer for anywhere. On the left hand side there is a tilt bridge that has a small black Batmobile tumbler with blue tinted windows made by Hot Wheels. I think I may have come across one of these Hot Wheels outside of a machine but I'm unsure. It looks exactly the same as the dark Knight Tumbler Hot Wheels that were released between 2005 and 2008, however all of those Batman tumblers say they were made in China on the bottom. From what little research I can find, which isn't much, I think the Batmobile that's in that tilt arm is the same Batmobile I have. If you still happen to have the machine would you be able to check the bottom of the Batmobile and let me know if it says made in Thailand? I would post a picture of the Batmobile Tumbler I have that I'm asking about but I don't think RUclips allows that in the comments.

I bet it's a fun table on a real machine. On VP, like most tables, it drains from every other bounce.

Nice review of this table, well done on getting that multiball. It really is satisfying to hit the right lower and upper left, on Lock to achieve glory. That said multiball is a bit of a crap shoot.

That "half-pressed-in" flipper button technique is genius.

I've just started to enjoy this game. Tried it a couple of years ago, but the machine was wonky and needed repairs. Now the local bar has a pretty good one (might actually be the same that has been repaired).

Excellent review. Looks like you guys had fun. I always find this pinball machine to be among the more difficult to master, but I know many people consider it one of the best.

I have owned a1980 Black Knight for over 20 years, one of Williams best games. I like the red belts you have on yours...

Few inaccuracies in this - multiball jackpot ramp is relit by warehouse (not saucer) left ramp super jackpot stays lit - and… to get the magazine modes it’s the standup targets to qualify rather than rollovers… as always if your up against me in a comp, please take my recommendation for getting the bonus on any game as soon as possible (Just get the ball down between the flippers to collect - don’t even need to flip 😜)

Great review of my favorite game.. One correction - No matter which of the 4 sets of targets you hit, you ALWAYS get the right magnasave first, and then the left only if the right is already lit. You can actually see this in your video at 5:40 when she scores the left lower side and gets rewarded the right magnasave. Also, a clarification - That extra ball becomes available when you complete BOTH of the sets of drop targets at the top 3 times (by default in one ball) and then hit that left ramp.. There's a similar reward (can't remember what) for getting both of the lower sets 3x and then going through the center ramp to the upper playfield. The 3 arrows pointing at each set of targets keep track of your progress. Also, you didn't show it, but in a multi-player game, by default the winner gets a 30 second bonus round of unlimited balls to add to the score.. keep plunging, and keep scoring! I think this can be disabled in settings, so it must have been disabled on my machine. Love this machine - It's fast and unforgiving as you point out!!

My favorite one of Gottlieb. The game is excellent & the music is the very best one i've ever heard on pinball games. For info : this pinball is manufactured in 1987 not 1988.

Take a look at the brand new Fathom machine from Haggis pinball in Melbourne Australia. It's a total re-imagining of the original. They have 2 versions - the original Fathom & the mermaid edition which has totally new game rules. It's awesome.

Not mentioned, is the bonus amounts: 22k and 44k. Very odd numbers and I don't think there are any other Bally games with a 22/44k bonus. My guess is they used 44k in honor of perhaps her bust size (which was probably more). In the late 70's Bally games were rife with sexual connotations, so it's not out of the realm that this is a subtle nod towards her assets.
