Focal ratio: f/10 and above For example: Celestron 9.25” SCT, focal length 2400 mm, f/10 focal ratio Deep Sky objects ke liye jitni focal length kam ho, utna accha hai. For example: 12” or 16” inch Dobsonian, with F/4 or F/5 focal ratio

Deep sky astrophotography ke liye short focal length ki refractor best hoti hai. Refractors ka contrast ziyaada hota hai, aur light gathering capacity bhi. Example: William Optics Redcat 51 Focal length: 250 mm Focal ratio: f/4.9

@@bttnat439 I know radioactivity is all around us. In the end it’s a personal choice. I actually love all my thorium doped lenses.
