How to Make a Mask: Step-by-Step Guide
Materials Needed:
Hat (or tin foil and tape for making a hat)
Old wire hanger (or any slightly bendable wire)
Aluminum foil
Duct tape
Masking Tape
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
PVA glue and water (or paper mache mix/flour)
Newspaper (or kitchen paper for the final layer)
Guesso
Acrylic Paint (white and other colors for details)
Super glue
Mesh see through black fabric (optional)
Curly wig
Wire cutters
Scissors
Acrylic Sealer (liquid or Spray)
Instructions:
Prepare the Hat Base
Option 1: Use a hat from the dollar store or any hat you have.
Option 2: Create a hat using tin foil and tape to fit your head.
Create the Mouth Base
Take an old wire hanger, cut it, and shape it ...

@@leamooney6161 It’s not super light, but not so heavy either. The thing is , you have to be careful when you do the duct tape, not to overdo that part. The rest of the other material are very very lightweight.

It looks... okay, there is a lot of problems with it though
I mean, it’s handmade from scratch. I have it on my wall. Looks pretty cool to me. It’s one of a kind. I like it very much. :)
@@darkclementineart00 don't get me wrong, it looks pretty good, it has nice painting, it's cheap cause it's homemade, but it could use some blood, damage and scratches, and last with the gash next to the eye it needs some more deep cuts and chipped paint

Don't get me wrong you did a really great job with the mask but I would absolutely save that shit for Halloween exclusively! It would scare the piss out of anyone who doesn't know what AOT is.

@@darkclementineart00 one thing that has always perplexed me about Japanese media is how they model some of their characters in the most bizarre way possible.

@@darkclementineart00 like I have noticed it's not just AOT it's also a lot of other animes they have in their library where the characters seem to have very exaggerated features be it body proportions or facial expressions. I don't have a problem with it barring it doesn't get straight up creepy like how some of the titans have these creepy facial expressions. it's just I want to know why.
