I have leveled 8 to 80, and got 1 shard. Then I began to farm for all 3 mounts. I got 2 other mounts you had mentioned. 6 shards. Trying to get 4 more. 3 days x 5 hours élite wolves, bees and random isle elites = 0 shards, nothing is dropping in 3 days! 😢 Good luck to everybody.🤷‍♀️

After many years of postponing the tifecta of rares - TLPD, Aeonaxx and camel figurine - i finally pulled myself to do so... Only to get all 3 of them in a span of 6 days, i even managed to find Aeonaxx twice, so my buddy got one as well, TLPD took me 3 days, and the figurine was the 3rd one I used. Now time to push my luck for Battle Tank :D

My personal recommendation is to farm Voidtalon in Shadowmoon Valley because it's not subject to empty zone resets. You can use NPC Timer add-on to find out when a zone has been last reset by checking on an unkillable NPC, like a flightmaster. I just used several trial NPC's on different RP realms with WM on and off etc. I would check on them every two hours, or so and I eventually got lucky. I also want to thank you for showing the picture of the Edge of Oblivion portal because when I was farming the mount I had a very difficult time finding out what the stupid thing looked like.

Was your fiancé too far when TPD was killed? They changed it so you have to be really close when your group kills it or you don't get it. Otherwise it's 100% drop rate. Wowhead statistics are often incorrect.

See, my dumbass ran into the Time Lost Proto Drake exactly once back in Wrath, and had the option to get it. My dumbass was on the way to do a leg of Ulduar with guildies and figured (because I had never heard of it before, mainly because no one talked about it in Wrath on Nesingwary US at the time) that I'd get it sometime later. I have NEVER seen it up again. Not after all these years. Mind you, I don't use addons (last time I used some my account got hacked) and I don't spawn camp it. But still, I have never seen it again. I hate myself sometimes lol.

Been trying to get voidtalon for years... But no luck

I have been trying so hard to get Mollie since BOA and finally got her this week. I got he Void Last Year. Poundfist is another I have never seen. I have never seen the Time Lost either. I've been playing since 2004. I have over 400 kills and still don't have the Dragon Soul mounts. Some of these farms are brutal for sure.

You can buy coins from stormshield to get 1 extra roll per week for the solar spirehawk i have a couple of friends who got it from the coin roll .The coins are the same used in siege of ogrimaar extra gear roll i dont remember the name of coins though but a short google search can get you the name if u really want it :)

Holy crap, I didnt know about the Pandaria method to get the Battle Tank. I only came back to the game (quit in Cataclysm) this expansion, and I've always wanted that mount. Flying about Kalimdor was driving me nuts! I know what I will be doing in my spare WoW time now!! Thanks for the info!

I have tried for years for voidtalon and just can't get it. I have all these ( not solar spirehawk ) and many other rare ones but voidtalon I just can't get it done.

was it 7 hrs farming in a 5man with 3 pally or solo? because 3 pally aoe farming mobs could be the difference between 7hrs and 7 days.
