How many miles was the bait?
About 300m offshore, it depends on how the ground looks where you are dropping the bait. I usually drop the baits between 200 and 400 meters offshore when drone fishing.

Around White Island off Nanga is pretty good. The ground is pretty barren around here, so you basically need to look for gravelly ground and where the depth changes

Don’t scale fish when filleting , it makes skinning harder
You can eat the skin on the whiting, that's why we scale it before filleting.

im all for a good fishing session but cmon mate thats way to many the bag limits 32 anyway this is part of the reason most of perth is fished out anyways good job
Yeah I respect what ur saying, but we rarely go out. The bag limit is 30 per licence and you’re allowed two licenses on the boat for whiting.

mate jack gibson shut ya gob mate befor knowing the facts... multiple licences means more catch limit. Perth isnt fished out, just need to be fishing the systems for a couple years
