I use cardboard boxes as a canvas for years i also make my own cheap version of guesso, i work with oil paints for cars (it's way cheaper where i live), my take is if it's not near nor financially available just work with what u have never let the materials be the wall against your creativity. And it's actually more fun and feel you really built everything by yourself.

Yeah, I agree to your opinion. As I got better I noticed many pros use default paint brush. When coloring using G pen and soft eraser makes things work perfectly in most situations. It just requires some technique with pen pressure but that is not that difficult if you practice. For my first tablet I had a very cheep crappy one from WACOM. That didn't work so well and it was like a toy, so I feel the tool does matter a bit. After that I bought WACOM Intuos Pro. This works totally fine. However, I once thought changing it to a one that has a display together, but I noticed that the Intuos is the easiest tablet to draw for me. Also Intuos saves me not getting backache btw.

Totally. All I use these days for most of my stuff is just 2 variations of the hard round brush. I used to spend too much time stressing over brushes.

This video helped me a lot. I am an aspiring mangaka, and whenever i lok at works by the pro's, i just get thoughts about quiting. But everyone else around me always tells me I am a great artist, and now, i am about to listen to them. I will be releasing a oneshot next month. I want everyone to read it. It's called "more than a game". I want you all to review it.

I think that’s what it’s called, anyway, my circles never became all perfect like how the other artists had in their drawing apps, my lines always crossed, and my lines weren’t always straight, I’ve learned that I don’t need it to make good art.

the best tool an artist can have will always be creativity and knowledge. I saw my cousin who's graduated on fine arts and draws super well, making amazing pieces with the cheapest and worst quality pens and pencils. i think artists should trust themselves and challenge themselves more, instead of putting all their confidence on expensive and great quality tools. another great video man! thanks for always uplifting us!

Learn the basics, and understand your tools. I work traditionally on my manga on my RUclips channel too, funny thing I still use my old plug in Wacom tablet to draw sometimes if I want to go digital. Keep up the art!

Personally when I draw and upload I don’t do it for recognition I do it to help me learn somthing new or just to in general ask for help so when a video flops for me I get sad not because I’m not becoming popular but because no one would see the video and help with the drawing

when I'm drawing even though i don't congratulate myself or look at my art as good i do see improvements and potential, i can be way too hard on myself tbh but this video is good, i need to stop being harsh on myself and this video is a step for me at least in the right direction.

Your honest is very true though <33 I felt so bad when I did not get views in my channel I felt like I’m not worth it , I was like “oh well I only draw anime characters “ the next day my video got views! And I gained more than 900 subscribers in 2 days ! So I knew that it’s not my fault or my drawing bad , all the art is great , it’s just social media .
