    Why did they have to be replaced? Did they wear prematurely due wheel spacer?

    • @raidenmotors3033
      @raidenmotors3033 10 месяцев назад

      Nope, the studs had been cut to fit adapters, so in order to put everything back to stock, the hubs needed to be replaced.

    Fyi.. title of this vid could add a component for replacing the Red Washer often cracks in half and sometimes destroys the sensor.. so its a common replacement needing done on bolts 2017-19 I bought my parts but haven't done mine yet. Anyways.. with the title adjustment might get more views. Thanks for sharing. -Sam. ps Also if your going to post part numbers. might as well post affiliate amazon links.

      I overtightened my axle nut and now my ABS/wheel speed sensor is broken. I suspect the Red Washer is cracked as per your comment. Can you please provide me with that part number for that Red Washer if you have it?

    Thanks for the video, nice and clear! Yesterday I was mounting my winter wheels on my Opel Ampera-e but when tightening the left front wheel, unfortunately one wheel stud broke off even though I used the correct torque of 140nm. Is it possible to knock this broken stud out of the hub and replace it with a new one by only removing the rotor or does the entire hub need to be removed? I see a small opening in the right side of the rotor shield that might leave just enough room for a stud to pass through. In other words, is there enough space to get a new stud in from behind the hub? Thanks!

      I don't think there's enough space behind to knock the studs out

    Read an article in the news so I had to go look. Vantage=more, bigger, power tools. Sacrificial bolt extracting sockets. Hammer, extra large. Impact gun, you're gonna need a 3/4 I can tell. And... that Vantage looks like the wrong people have been working on it for too long. Kudo's, I was entertained.

      Remove the two torque bolts from caliper halves then there is no need to remove the two 13mm bolts that hold the handbrake caliper on

    The Moss replacements would only last me one to two months. The Ron Francis switch lasted 8 months. I replaced the switch with a unit from O’Reilly auto parts four years ago and it’s still going strong.

      I think the best tip for longevity is to throw a relay in the circuit, controlled by the switch...That way almost no current goes through the switch, and it eliminates some voltage drop from the rest of the circuit. Should improve longevity as well as brightness. I still like the Ron Francis for the lower pressure.
