i noticed the drone icon on the map (red triangle) does not correspond to its acual orientation..it seems like its flying backwards or sideways..

bottom line you are WRONG!!! THE F11 , F11 GIM , AND F11 GIM 2 ARE ALL DIFFERENT!!! THE ORIGINAL GIM AND THE GIM 2 ARE FAR APART ON SPECKS AND OVERALL USER EXPERIENCE!!! THE F11 SUCKS.. THE F11 GIM IS A LITTLE BETTER( BUT NOT MUCH) AND THE GIM 2 IS WAY BETTER!!! BLOWS MY MIND JUST HOW WRONG YOU ARE! MAN I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE GIVING ADVICE WHEN YOU CLEARLY DONT KNOW WTF YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!

Based on the two I own, I cannot recommend SJRC drones. My other drones work correctly.

I have two of these drones and the Grand Kids fly them around often. We even have played hid and go seek with them in the back yard. To proof I found them I have to get a picture of them. I had lots of trailers and car haulers in the yard so it was so much fun.. These drones all come down very slowly. I've never had any type of delay in flying .Some people use the fake antenna as legs on a table top. I bought rechargeable double AA batteries at the get go., Great drones for the money with a lot of features comes back to home if it gets out of range too.

I've just read the specs on the official website and it says it only uses 5g through your phone so your not gunna get any decent distance using your phone 5g I'm guessing? I've made a offer for £70 for a used one on eBay , but I got a Mavic mini with combo for £100 for myself now I'm looking for a drone for my son , should I wait out see if I get another mini for around £100

The auto-return-to -home without a warning makes this F11 4k useless for follow-me. Do a U-turn and race back to where it took off is not an option on a bike tour. Real shame. Because GPS follow-me works reasonably good on this drone and the video quality is great for the price. I wish the app had a homepoint-update setting. BTW. What you were using is optical tracking. On this F11 it is only tripod mode.

Hi. I'm a little late to the drone party but I arrived my first drone was a holy Stone 720e which was nice but I soon outgrew it. Sold it to my friend, upgraded to the mini 2, and he put the holy stone on a roof. He now wants another drone. I seen your review and advised his cheap ass that I may have something for him in the $200 range. It's now February of 2023. Have u came across any new budget drones of this calibre or better. Btw, for those coming across this message, if u can come up with a few more dollars, the mini, mini SE, and the mini 2 are dropping drastically. I got my mini 2 with fly more combo and drone display/charging hub for $325 on Mercari. U can bargain Prices and your money is secure until u receive and test product and is satisfied.
