i actually really liked the whole idea about the negative energy being created and stored in the dragon balls, and the fact that it was meant to take a long time to find all the dragon balls so the negative energy can dissipate over time, but the constant use of the dragon balls overfilled the dragon balls with too much negative energy till they cracked, and each ball was its own dragon created by the negative energy, i thought it was cool

@4:52 the nemakian dragonball does indeed scatter after a wish is made. It was shown in the anime after Frieza tried to make his wish for immortality and Dende wished everyone to Planet earth. At the end of the wish, they do indeed rise to the sky and scatter.

This video is years old but you have to see the bigger picture The super dragon balls scatter in universe 6 and 7 universe 6 and 7 are the two universes that have sayings and namekins, what that means is there is a super namekian out there who created the super dragon balls it does not kill the original storyline it shows that there is a God level namekian out there

There should actually be a 4th cell as well. The Cell from the unseen timeline that the original Trunks travelled to and saved from the Androids.

if i rememeber right the namekian dragonballs DO scatter after successful use. only when guru died before all 3 wishes were made is when the balls jsut fell to the ground all together and turned to stone.

Technically there are 4 if you include the timeline that trunks was trying to go back to before cell killed him. That unseen timeline would still have a fetus cell in an underground lab.

So in summary, there's a parallel timeline where Cell was successfully kept a secret because Dr. Gero didn't live long enough to boast about his perfect creation. This would line up with Gero's death scene in the Android 13 movie, which may _actually_ be showing the Unseen Timeline in question. This actually paints a pretty detailed synopsis of the Unseen Timeline, since you could incorporate most of the History of Trunks lore into it. The divergence of the Unseen Timeline and the Future Timeline is still a question, though. If they were parallel, what decision/action caused them to split?... anyways. The Unseen Timeline is a parallel timeline where Goku still dies of the heart virus, and also the timeline where no one finds out about Cell, also a timeline where Gohan still trained Trunks and Trunks never had to travel to the past in order to get strong enough to defeat the androids. Instead, he probably had a near death experience, gained a Zenkai boost, and perhaps even trained in the Room of Spirit and Time, which might be what caused the Future Timeline to split from the Unseen Timeline: Trunks may have met Mr. Popo and was offered to go to the lookout, or immediately go to the past. Future Timeline Trunks chose the past. Unseen Timeline Trunks chose to go with Popo, probably discovering the chamber. Either way, there had to be a reason those timelines split. After defeating 17 and 18, UT Trunks waited three years for the time machine to be ready, and then was ambushed by the same Cell who would be killed by Gohan. Toriyama was literally in the 4th dimension with this arc. Like damn, there's pretty much 0 inconsistency between the 3 timelines. [Edit: Korin meeting Trunks makes more sense than Mr. Popo now that I think about it. Therefore I'd bet Korin showed Trunks the Room of Spirit and Time in the Unseen Timeline, which is how Trunks defeated the Androids without having to travel to the past.]

Technically we do see the hidden timeline. When cell comes back from self destructing ... he shows us through his memories of Android 17 and 18 killing dr. Gero and then they blow up the lab ... and it shows cell surviving the blast and then being born realizing the androids were dead.

You are correct about this. It took me a while to figure out the timelines. I'm just wondering why the Cell that was killed by SSJ2 Gohan didn't go to the same past (unseen) that further-future Trunks went to? And why was it going to a year before Frieza's arrival? Why would Trunks go back to a point where no one knows who he is just to tell them that he had destroyed the androids in his time?

@5:00 I know Krillin's Wish to take the explosives out of the androids the Dragon Balls are shown to Scatter. Pretty sure it does some other times as well.

This guy is such a fanboy, GT is by far the best Dragon Balls that includes the Z story. I like the fact that the dragon balls was over used, that's what makes super so boring and without tension, it's too cocomelon safe. It makes sense for everyone to be responsible and stop relying on these overuse plot balls.

There’s 4 timeline and there 4 cell and 4 trunks

Now let's look at how the events change if the perfect cell who travelled back to the past didn't travel back to the past.. well 1 he would've stayed imperfect in the future , androids are dead , trunks is dead and everybody on earth is pretty much thanks to cell.. back in the main timeline because future trunks never comes back to tell em if his plans were successful with the remote control.. we can only hope our warriors with now an alive Goku who doesn't die from the heart disease him and the gang found a way to defeat the androids.. regardless if they did or not it still leaves a present day cell being born as nobody knows anything about cell!! This cell has the chance to become perfect if the warriors don't defeat the androids.. the androids get consumed by cell once he's born.. if the androids are already gone, Goku and the gang actually have it a lot easier to defeat an imperfect cell and the timeline continues.. with this timeline continuing we then get into dragon ball super .. Goku black arc.. where somebody is able to steal a Goku body from another timeline that still went in similar direction to the timeline we know 😌.. if you ask me that's where zamasu got a Goku body as you see from that scene when he gets Goku body it's actually from an event that really happened in the main timeline we watch

Reviewing the comments what people are saying is correct trunks did say the Time Machine was set 1 year prior to his arrival.. so technically us looking at it show wise .. when future trunks first arrived cell was there but that's also not the case.. because trunks went back to his future and was suppose to come back but didn't because he got killed by cell which he didn't know of at the time.. this cell came back 1 year prior to trunks first arrival ..1 person said this wouldn't make sense if trunks defeated the androids with remote control why go back 1 year prior and it does make a good question but maybe he figured going back 1 year prior would give them more time to defeat the androids the same way .. Either way with cell now going back 1 year prior changed the events all over again thus giving future trunks life back again to do what he was already originally going to do which was go back to the past 😂 and this time around now he learns of his ship being there, being there 1 year prior to his first arrival , learns about cell and we know the rest from there 😌

The reason they didn't use the normal Earth Dragonballs was that the Black Star Dragonballs were a more powerful set and thus could not affect the Black Star Dragonballs. Also, considering the Earth Dragonballs were on the verge of corruption... bad idea.
