    Great video! I’m thinking about going Fractal but as a tube guy I’m not convinced yet! How did it turn out on your live gigs?

      @@analogblues9606 I’m loving it more and more you just have to spend the time to make it work for you. A lot of people give up on the editing prematurely (the presets sound great anyway and the forums are so helpful for quickstart presets too). I take my tube amps when the mood takes me but the FM3 is winning me over - tones, flexibility and convenience.

      @ Thanks heaps mate, appreciate the support. Yeah I just plug straight into the PA and it really does sound great when you figure it all out. I have a FR speaker on stage behind me so it sounds/feels more amp-y too. I used to be a staunch analogue guy but have become a digital convert. Good luck!

      This was on loan to me for a week or so but I played it a fair bit with no tuning issues at all. Pretty solid!

      @@mike70s hey thank you - I haven’t really tried the Player stuff but this would definitely compete with the vibe series. Worth a look anyway if you find one in the wild. I know a few local players using these as a spare 👍

    Would you recommend this over the blade Levinson Delta Standard? That roasted neck is quite the looker

      Hello! I haven't actually played that one, sorry. These Levinsons are pretty great though for the money - I enjoyed playing this one lots. My feeling is that the entry level beginner guitars have better specs than they used to if you don't mind we're they get manufactured. Good luck!

    Maybe it comes from the Alan Hinds version (havent listened), but in BB's the Ab dom7 is an Ab maj7. I have a hard time not hearing it that way. Great lesson though and I really dig the Zep quotation. Thanks!

      Yeah okay cool I'll check it out - the Ab chord here is an inversion of the Fm (Fm9/C) and then an Ab9 in the turnaround. SO many ways to handle a minor blues so have some fun with it and experiment with your sounds & licks. Cheers!

      @@yusufallie3089 That’s all coming from the Fractal FM3 with a RC Booster in front of the unit. Guessing it would have been the Vibroverb amp model (this was done a while ago can’t quite remember sorry)

    What amp are you using, that warm tone sounds like a Fender Strat, my Cort G256 had a similar tone

    Is the Bb a major 7 chord I used Bb13, dominant sound that sends you to the Ebmaj7 chord

      Yeah that would work! I use a Bbmaj.9 voicing in the verses here which I really think of as Gm9/Bb. I interchange with the Bb7 (or 13 would work also) as we head towards the Ebmaj7. Remember: if it sounds good, then it probably is! Thanks for your question :)

      I was speaking in regard to the Bb13 chord, it contains Ab instead of A natural . . . As well: Fmi7 Bd13 to Ebmaj7 Perfect ii V7 to I

    I love your videos, I just find I miss part of the things you say that are kinda advanced or new to me I would really like to see a song explained more throughly and with some background, maybe on the chord progressions and how you spice them up, or maybe even a little theory, I think it would be really useful to a lot of people, and I feel you can do that! I really hope so, keep it up :)

      Thanks - glad you found it useful! Yeah the wall was a quick fix for a daggy ply wall. I googled ‘vintage concert posters’ and hit the colour printers then a couple of days with the PVA glue and paintbrush. Came up good!

    Nice! J.J. Cale had his own way of playing, that's for sure. I'm not good at Chet Atkins style, but it's nice to see the chords and runs.

    Great stuff. Too many RUclips guitar instructors think a lesson can be aimed at everyone from absolute beginners to intermediate. They can’t. Your lesson is a nice early intermediate lesson.

    I’m waiting for the tutorial up To now only narcissistic tones far to much over enffasis on your ability stop Fannying and teach your not as good as you think you seem to have any natural ability do people when they come to see you or co they walk out your not playing for the people but yourself disappointed
