Melody has taken triple Ls on this Tyla conversation yet she no wan gree. 😭😭🤣😁
Big Ups Melody, Adeayo and AOT2 for this episode. But just to correct Adeayo at 1:26:04. The song "Who stole the meat" (featuring Samsong) was by Maleke, a comedian/musician based in Benin City who used to be on the lineup of Night of a thousand laughs. That song was a comic/novelty song, and it was actually a hit song in Edo State back then. He even had to do a high life remix and a hip-hop remix with Kaha and Cyrus Tha Virus. It wasn't meant to be a regular song as you're making it seem. It was a novelty song meant to be funny and it served its purpose at the time.
Melody !!!! where is EXCEL ????
Moelogo on any Show dem camp is a hit! Fact.
TEMS no be Nigerian artiste abi?
Who blocked Ade Eyo?
@@bafemiplus1999 Fireboy
I haven't seen dissecting and knowledge of the industry and of music like this on the pod in a while. Yall didn't make me miss Motolani too much today. Kudos 💯💯

Omo I love you guys, before I wouldn’t watch a video without a special guest but I’ve discovered that every episode is actually interesting because of you people’s style of podcast
Nice episode 🔥S/O to AOT2
Motolani, Igbo people always voted against their own tribesmen until Obi. Check from ‘99. You can’t then say every tribe has the “emilokan” sentiment.
No Motolani, no Zero Conditions podcast! I miss him so much, I had to go watch past episodes❤️
Melody are you also living in Nigeria like the rest of us?
May God bless us all
Omo I grew up in sabon gari too dem don bomb my church st Charles 😢

If we’re talking about album of the year phyno album needs to be there
Why do I always don’t give full attention whenever I get to know motolani isn’t on the lineup. There’s this sauce the man brings to the pod.
😂 This particular episode has Motolani snr and Motolani jnr, In the music journalism linage 😂😂.
On g, I skip most episodes if he’s not on
Una upload late today ooo
Before I start to watch See as melody fine ❤
First to comment 😂
This guy 😂
Melody you are very mischievous on this episode with that idiot Taymi you brought here. Tueh
I think I am a podcast head, and I use pocketcasts. If you know anything about pocketcasts, you’ll know you cannot comment on episodes. I say all these to say that, in my years of listening to podcasts, I’ve never felt the urge to comment as much as I did while listening to this. More so, to leave one app and come to another to do so, emphasizes the point. The guest was absolutely HORRIBLE
I heard the name of the God Ayelala
If you really the comments Melody, why haven’t you addressed why Excel left the pod. The three of you guys have a very solid synergy and that’s I followed you here from Terms & Conditions. We understand if he’s busy doing other career defining things, it’ll just be nice for you to address why he left and when he’ll potentially come back. 😊😊
I agree with Uche concerning Asake album. The leap he took sonically with Lungu Boy and the fact that he was able to make it work that album is award winning. He took a step out of his comfort zone and it worked for him.
Wait is this uche melody's man?!!
Melody when is excel
Excel first, Now Tolani.
53:19 Melody is right, it's 1000%
Melody I understand your stance about Tyla. Smith and Uche thank you for making this conversation lively.
As far as BBN to Music pipeline goes i feel like it’s a lot of things that contributes to these artistes not breaking in. First, the material(music) hasn’t been convincing enough but besides that, it’s that “BBN” tag attached to them. They aren’t taken as seriously cos of the platform and this is also from the players in the music industry, you can also see it with someone like Nasboi. It’s hard for the players in the music industry to take Nasboi and his art serious because he’s a “comedian/skit maker” . Industry guys will and cannot believe that this comedian is doing music now and playing in the same field as them. No matter how far these guys go with their music career ( whether they eventually get to make good music or not ) there’ll always be that tag; “oh it’s that comedian that started doing music” or “it’s that guy from BBN that does music”. For them being a music artist will always be secondary, especially how the industry and consumers at large view them. Will they be accepted as musicians that they are or are they people that got a platform from doing something else and just started releasing music? This is the bigger question.
Tolani don leave work follow woman 😅
