Latter day Beatle fans: John and Yoko were NOT the Beatles. You missed Beatlemania. It was fantastic! These two and their crazy ideas came much later. No one took them seriously.

Seriously! Be honest. Would you choose your best friend/competitive rival's father in law to handle the finances or would you choose a known music industry businessman who (at that time) came recommended by The Rolling Stones??? Paul by that stage was already controlling and the boys (Ringo and George) had enough!

I see people constantly talking about Yoko's looks, often negatively because negativity is easier. I think Yoko was the type of person who could look ugly sometimes, sometimes really cute. Her looks don't have anything to do with her personality... Which is pretty ugly at times.
Yoko is rolling her eyes as if to say "i liked Klein, he promised me an srt exhibition" She should have never had a damn thing to do with John or the Beatles. She has zero talent

The more I read about and see interviews of John post Beatles, the more I dislike him, same with George. They love to shit on the Beatles yet owed the money they had and the lifestyle they enjoyed to their time as members of that group. Paul & Ringo actually understood and appreciated their legacy. John was a drug addicted, cheater, spouse abusing deadbeat dad. George was a hypocrite. Mr. Hare Krishna, my sweet lord, yet cheated on his wife and played on a John song which eviscerated Paul. He seemed so bitter, and never heard of him giving up his wealth to live “spiritually”. It’s pretty easy to sit around and meditate when you have tons of money. Paul and Ringo were like: yep, we were Beatles, and we’re proud of it. When we play concerts we’re going to show our appreciation by playing the Beatles songs.

Yoko wanted Klein and she knew Paul didn't. She wanted to separate John and Paul and she got what she wanted. Very manipulative, and I think John is starting to realize it here.

I can remember as a small kid in London watching this on Sunday, around midday on ITV. I was steering at the TV not knowing who these people were but my much older sister was watching with great interest.

John lays it right out. Once and for all. The Beatles were mincemeat without any of the tags people want to put on it. Got stale. Their last few records were mostly done separately even smashing bits together to complete the albums. Amazing they got records at all at the end. They all did a couple of good solo records, so be happy.

Anyone who’s ever played in a musical group knows how fluid and contentious the relationships, musical interests, money, etc. inevitably become. I cannot imagine the creative and business pressures these young men faced. Amazing they did it as long as they did.

I had a dream about meeting John Lennon last night. I told him he was a great artist and he said he’d heard my music. I hugged him and let him go.

I know it's almost a crime to say anything bad about The Beatles, but Lennon always seemed extremely unhappy.
The Eastman's were the best choice to manage The Beatles -- they did very well by Paul and John Eastman and Paul had a great working relationship up until his death last year -- when John Eastman passed away Billy Joel thanked him for guiding him financially after Billy discovered his manager had robbed him blind -- Allen Klein was an evil crook thief he died of dementia
It’s crazy to see how young John looked in 65, to how he looks in 73. That’s only 8 years…he looks like he’s aged 20. I’m sure most of the reason is hard drugs but still..
