Got to install the new a/c condenser as well as the new oil control solenoid! Got stuck with a bolt to end the night but we are all good! on to the next day!!

Today we finally get to changing the water pump on the b8 S4 as well as Upgrade the crankshaft bolts so our CAP 191 pulley doesn't break off of the engine!

It may be slow but THE BEST sensation I have felt in a car is from my turbocharged vw jetta 2.0! My Audi S4 is stupid fast imo and probably almost 3x as fast as the jetta 2.0t but something about that warp speed turbo feeling vs the supercharger low end torque is so much fun!

Im a little late to post on this, but i can tell you that changing your underdrive pulleys back to the stock pulleys for just the crank and powersteering is not going to solve your voltage issues. Im posting this just so others can read this also in order to clear some mis concemptions up on underdrive pulleys for the 1.8t. I use them and they work great. No voltage issues what so ever. Now i can say this, the alternator on the 1.8t is suppossed to use a clutched alternator pulley. The under drive pulley kits change that. And the alternator no longer has a smooth operation due to the increased vibrations or harmonic pulses from the lighter pulley installed on the crank shaft. This can create an issue with premature wear on the alternator. And there is also wiring issues with the mini fuse box ontop of the battery. The charge wire gets oxodized and over heated over time which causes resistance on the charge wire which results in low voltage readings and eratic voltage. Plus the chasis and block grounding connections get corroded over time and need to be cleaned. Changing the pulleys back to stock fornthe crank and powersteering is not going to solve this issues in the long run. You need to have the alternator tested at an auto parts store first. If the alternator is not producing adequate voltage then you need to replace the alternator. If the alternator is good. Then you have wiring issues. That is where you should start trouble shooting this type of issue before you assume that the underdrive crank pulleys are causing the issue.

I run this on my 2021 mustang ecoboost. 91 tune. A few things I’ve noticed , better throttle response, cleaner torque curves, and a lot less negative ignition corrections.
my mk6 started to do this i think when i put scales extreme low, i replaced today with the old one (solo werks) i have which was before i switched to the scales and it still does the sound, it wasnt doing that till ive put the scales extreme low which was so fuckign stiff the car was bouncing lmgao, while driving i started to hear that noise, when i jacked up the car the shock was out of his position. then ive reaplaced with my solo werks went for a test drive and the sound was still there.

Whoo, weight reduction! Is the hood your own mold? The Jetta was kinda overlooked for larger CF parts than the Golf was that generation. On those mk4 cars, there's a zillion little brackets that could be fussed with, that are far heavier than needed. And, after that: fastener swaps where VW used huge/long bolts in non critical places that could be swapped shorter. I forget what you have or haven't done to the Jetta, suspension wise. Have you ever looked into the TT/R32 front wheel hub swap? Implicitly that's a brake upgrade up front, too. It won't be weight reduction, but it makes an improvement to the car's handling in the corners. I loved that change on my TDI mk4, even though I only used 1.8T caliper carriers and the next size up 288x25mm vented disks.
Man I really wish I could've gotten a way to tune my 2000 Golf. I put the turbo on, had the oil lines installed, new 440cc injectors, intercooler and charge piping installed, and I couldn't find anyone that could tune the factory ECU. I bought a universal Megasquirt standalone with a universal harness, but I couldn't figure out how to wire it up on my own. I ended up scrapping the car.

How do you know if the sensor is bad or if there is something wrong
You dont need a pump. Or a return . Just plumb a boost line to the top of the tank ( think fat vacum line) if you spray pre compressor. Look up wannaspeed their kit runs pumpless. When boost is your pump it sprays progressive, more boost more spray, and finer drops. Also run the winter extreme temp windsheild fluid. More methonal. Did you know methonal fits between water. If you have a cup of methonal. And a cup of water. Pour them together and it wont equal two cups, the methonal fits between the water molocules.. its closer to 1.5 cups even tho you would think its two cups total. Wannaspeed system is tank, selinoid, check valve, sprayer. Checkvalve is for ,methonsl out so it wont drip all the time. Boost line to tank has no check valve. Selinoid runs off hobbs switch.

Im a former HVAC mechanic and always work on my own cars when possible, but Im recovering from heart surgery now and kinda limited physically. Sorry for the wierd question, but was it easy to do just kneeling down, or did you have to lay on the floor to access? I ordered a new motor and resistor, so should have it tomorrow. Thanks

Well what happened a/f seemed spot on
I used a dual sensor air temperature gauge kit from amazon. I really only needed the post blower sensor but the other sensor didn't add much to the cost. check out the motor meter racing dual air intake intercooler temperature gauge. it cost me 76.49. cool video.
I just replaced mine with a amazon upgraded part on my C7 full aluminum housing and I haven't had any problems so far you might want to look into that one.

no wayyyy, i started watching the old series recently, in hopes of finding enough info to turbo my own 2.0l jetta wagon, and i will say this now, you got a KILLER deal when you bought this kit, all the ebay kits are 700$ and you get absolute garbage parts, sooooo jealous that you were able to snag an american racing short runner too! cant wait too see her running again!

Is it possible to do this without a tune? I want to inject 100% water for fuel economy sake. I want decrease to diameter intake to trick the MAF into the lean condition instead of paying for an expensive tune for the water injection.
