@MOTORMOUTH2009 It has a role cage and some weight savings though, it comes at ~1450kg but the roll cage stiffens the chassis. The suspension setup is also important and clearly they've got it right so it's not exactly off the shelf. You still need to get the car setup but I do understand what you mean, anyone can build a similar car.

@hyuugafan2 HPF M3 is a piece of shit when it comes to a track car, the torque and power curve are not linear, it has far too much power and will spin. This guy is running a 295 rear do you really think a Stage 4 would be fine with a tire that small? There's no way a HPF Stage 4 could beat this on a track, on the street in a straight line maybe but the track, forget it. The HPF isn't a very good car at what it does either, the traction problems are massive.

BTW: That IDIOT at about 6:38 nearly KILLED the CSL dude (if he didn't anticipate the idiot's ridiculous behavior and floored it)! He should SERIOUSLY get his ass kicked!!!!! Also, he BRUTALLY worsened the CSL dude's lap time (in those two righthanders before the longest straight, every mph/kph matters a LOT). OMG, I hate slow ignorant f****! When you're slow, DON'T go to a race track and if you ABSOLUTELY have to, WATCH THE MIRRORS!!!!!!!!!

BTW: The car crosses the white line at about 9.7 s into the video and the timing only begins later, but stops at the white line. No matter what the local custom may be, whenever I measure a lap, I measure it between two IDENTICAL points - e.g. line-to-line in this case. The line-to-line time is about 7:37.8 - 9.7 s = 7:28.1. The local custom can be different (lap start line different from lap finish line), but it is NOT what you would call APPROPRIATE to claim that as a FULL lap. This is 98.8 %.

When you consider that Lexus claim internal Lexus LFA testing time of "better than 7:20" with a completely stock Lexus LFA, you can see that finally, Lexus did their homework concerning track speed, not just the usual comfort/reliability stuff. The price may be insane (as is the production run of just 250 vehicles), but it IS a FAST Lexus. E.g. the MUCH more expensive Veyron could VERY probably NOT beat the LFA at the Nordschleife (despite being faster at the Top Gear track, but LFA had it wet).
