Yes it's safe but you will see annoying harmless check engine light without tune. O2 sensor spacers can make it go away also

@MrKotaSako Dang what an upgrade! Jealous lol they took out too much M in the new M cars. I think they wanted to appeal to Audi and Mercedes guys which they succeeded. I'm looking into 991.2 GT3/RS & 992 GT3 now. Not sure which one to get also don't want to lose a lot getting into a GT3 like $50-100k over MSRP

You can only choose the options they offer on the builder. I had to skip the interior part to switch to bucket seats then go back and choose colors

@@Benji.Danecker Ive been thinking a lot about a 991.1 GT3. Would you recommend that or saving up a bit more and getting a 991.2

I was scared about value dropping but I think 991.1 is totally fine. Almost should have just kept it and trade in later on lol maybe wait until next year and prices should be more stable. I always wanted a RS so I might do .1 or .2 RS. Potentially 992.2 GT3 just because I want newer with bucket seats

@@ggholly oh dang. Maybe just enjoy it for a while stock then if you don't care too much. Catback exhaust will be fine or changing to stock before going to dealer also fine. You can even refund the warranty if u wanted to

For what you get it's nice. Tiny bit bouncier but not bad

That's pretty cool you got to order a E90 M3 brand new. G80 is much more technological advanced and comfortable but may not have the same soul..

Back then BMW had European deliveries and a 15% discount to boot!!! Unfortunately I was too busy working. I took the invoice price, about $3500 under msrp and called it a day. I even missed the Spartansburg track delivery. Back then shipping from Bremerhaven port (I believe) took only 1 month and a month and a half to build.

@@Benji.Danecker Just from a day to day standpoint. The BMW is going to be better every single day meanwhile the GT3 requires a racetrack to get the best of it. I also love turbo cars so after getting used to the power it’s really hard to go back to a slower car that has to be wound up. Lastly, the ability to customize the car and then growing with it is a major part of what I love about cars - I like to make them my own. Like you said, the GT3 is already done so there’s nothing to do… which is good in a sense but jut not my preference.

I agree with the modding aspect of it. Just can't do that to the gt3. However I actually have more fun with the slower gt3. Paired with loud exhaust it's just a thrill experience every time lol a lot of fun on street too but best on track

I'm currently driving without spacers and still looks good. I don't really like spacers and idea of stretching it. Definitely just do aftermarket wheels then

Yeah I only sold it with the hope of getting it back for cheaper which I did 😂 man sounds nice I need to do all that too. That's coming next. You can't mod porsches like you can with BMW especially for the money.

@@Benji.Danecker Ya thats true but 911s are almost perfect so not much someone can do anyway unless they want a Masonry or Brabus bodykit maybe Akra exhaust if they want it louder. BMWs so many mods and so many companies that do mods for them. I'm gonna hold off on things like downpipes though since i still have my bmw warranty and dont want to void it.

I voided my warranty at 1k miles 😂 they are reliable and would only break if u go too hard on them with mods anyways, now or in the future. You are right porsche comes perfect minus exhaust 😂 that's more of a pleasure car

That's a great response. You are totally right. I did drive those in the past as well but the best would be to borrow them for the day again for video sake. This definitely tops the BMWs as far as driving experience, just has other purposes compared to those cars. Thank you for the comment!
