I like that Robert liked Erin's impression. Yes, It does seem more like James was laughing but trying to stay in character. But still, I like that there wasn't some dark twist that would be on-brand for Robert. Unless the dark twist is there is no dark twist and he genuinely liked it, which is also very on brand for Mr. California.
