요즘 저녁에 시리얼과 우유를 먹는 경우가 많다.
These days, I often eat cereal and milk for dinner.
그래서 이번 설거지거리에 젓가락이 없는 것이다.

그런데 갑자기 헷갈렸다.

'시리얼에 우유를 말아먹었다' 가 맞는 표현일까,
'우유에 시리얼을 말아먹었다' 가 맞는 표현일까?

제 경험상 일정 기간동안 싱크대 위에 설거지거리들을 방치하면 컵이나 접시에 곰팡이가 생기더라고요. In my experience, if dishes are left on the sink for a certain period of time, mold forms on cups and plates. 그래서 앞으로는 곰팡이가 생기기 전에 소량이라도 제가 직접 주기적으로 설거지를 한번씩 해줘야 될 것 같습니다. So, from now on, I think I will have to wash the dishes myself periodically, even if just a small amount, before mold starts to form.

집에서 음식을 해먹는 것이 왜이렇게 힘들까요? Why is it so difficult to cook food at home? 물론 그릇에 과자만 덜어 먹어도, 머그컵에 우유랑 홍삼꿀을 타먹기만 해도 설거지감은 늘어나네요. Of course, just eating snacks in a bowl or mixing milk and red ginseng honey in a mug increases the feeling of washing up.

새로운 수세미가 왔습니다. A new scrubber has arrived. 저한테는 망사로 둘러싸인 스폰지 형태 수세미가 잘 맞는 것 같아요. I think a sponge-type scrubber surrounded by mesh works well for me. 수세미의 면적도 제 손바닥보다 조금 큰 게 좋네요. I like that the area of the scrubber is a little larger than my palm.

If you pay a lot of attention to beauty, wash a large amount of dishes, or make food such as kimchi, you may wear rubber gloves if necessary. From my experience, Korean women seem to hate washing dishes in cold water, especially in winter. Personally, I find rubber gloves frustrating. And the dishes are finished within 20 minutes, I don't really feel the need to wear rubber gloves.
