It is painful to see people comments and how racism takes every single group of people with no color destintion, dreadlocks may be present since a long time in different cultures simultaneously, provably the first graphic representation of it was found in Egipt.

Love this video sooo much !!! 😍💚💛❤ Thanks for sharing those wise words ! Such a pleasure to watch it as a white person with dreadlocks! There are so many prejudices and unnecessary fight between ppl from different culture (cultural appropriation)...but this video shows the real "idea" behind rasta and dreadlocks -- the simple truth what it is all about. Give thanks 🥰🙏🏼 Peace & Love from Germany

Happy You mentioned the bible 🙏♥️🥰 it is offen a symbol of wisdom and strength in the word. So sad some people and movies try to make it a demonisted, dirty or "gangstar" thing, just for some people. Babylon trying to segregate us, when really dreads are a good way to unite and talk together as one in the Spirit. For me dreads represent peace ♡ and beeing in peace with yourself and nature 🙏 God bless ..one love ❤️

Rasta chose I as well, I dont preach Rasta for it is my own lifestyle based on natural living, simple living, no materialism, no judgement, for only the almighty can judge I for my life, therefor I judge no one else for it is not my place unto H.I.M. I life is I own to live, so live!!❤💛💚

meh, just a hair style and trying to make something more out of it than it is. If this was something that white people had tried to claim as their own, there'd be no interest in researching it's origins Then again we have better things to do with our time

I can say with all honesty I wore weave all my life the my Father Yah woke me up to who I am and his spirit guided me as Zion and told me learn my culture he guided me to RUclips and I've seen black women with dreads where I'm at in North Carolina all I see is weave Yah told me to start them to encourage our sistas and they love my locs they say they look different than ever ones and they do because Yahweh created the look

Historically many cultures have dreadlocked hair styles. I'm Sth American and there are many native cultures that have some sort of platting or dreading... sooooooo ... Dreads belong to NO ONE other than the one wearing them..... And lets face it... growing dreads is one hell of a commitment.... listen to the words at 8:40..... it's just hair folks... sit back down and just respect each other

Rastafarian, raise the far eye. Do, re, me, fa, sol, la, ti. RE or RA the 2nd note as in the 2nd chakra. Raise the sacral forces. Ti or ta the 7th note, 7th chakra, crown or hair. FA the 5th note, the 5th chakra, heart. Now is this English understanding as I am speeking English or does this have meaning in Eastern or African languages?
