Man,,, I got one of these this year. Nothing but issues! you have any idea how to fix the rotating device? Mine just shut down! he talks but doesnt move. Also I didnt come with a G connector in the jacket. So his fog doesnt have flame. Hope your doing good and having a good halloween.

I am trying to repair the mechanism that makes her head spin in the box, and I need to replace the gear NEXT to the 10T connected to the motor shaft. Do you know what sort of stacked gear that is? Is it a 28/10T?

Awesome video, thanks for finding out uploading this! It does confirms my suspect that the MIT input is actually a wet contact (voltage signal) input, while the Try Me / Footpad input is a dry contact (short circuit signal) input. I think you can easily convert between these two type of signals while providing isolation to both side of the props' electrical circuit with a relay or optocoupler (preferred since they consume very low current, cheapest kind like EL817 works perfectly) and a couple of resistors.

Good informational video. Any ideas how to get that MIT to work like a footpad does? I have a prop(Death Row) that has an MIT jack and a footpad jack... but the footpad jack doesn't work. I am trying to wire that prop into several others all on a single Try Me signal. Any ideas?

I saw him in 2023, it’s now 2024 and I was wondering if he was still available. I just checked online and yes he is. I will be pulling the trigger on him, thank you so so much for showing us how he works. He’s going in my office. I do agree it is a bit overpriced, but I know I’m gonna want him when he’s no longer available so I will pull the trigger.

Look on instruction paperwork for any contact information about your scarecrow if issues. Hope they can help you with any issues on your animatronics. We've gone through different animatronics help rather than returning to stores. Some are great, will send replacement parts most of the time with receipt etc. =) God Bless and best of luck with your haunt.

Well, this guy seems to work, but then once it retracts back down, it seems like it doesn’t wanna stop for a while so the motor keeps running. Do you know a way I could stop that? If you can help me out, I try to look for any videos that show this issue that I have there’s nothing out there.

You said there’s a belt on this prompt because we’re trying to set it up for this year newly out the box it was working and then it stopped working just staying down and seems like it doesn’t want to retract all the way downwards. Sounds like it’s broken already.

I believe there’s a toggle switch in his head that tells the circuit board when his head is centered again. It’s a wire comes off or if that switch is bad, he’ll do what yours was doing in the video be a it’s trying to reset but can’t.

As much as you look at the insides of these things, I'm surprised you haven't decided to build something from scratch. I wanted one of those Haunting Ghost Bride props but like you, I sort of look late in the season for deals and it was sold out. After seeing how the mech worked, I ordered some electronic parts on Alliexpress to start building my own out of PVC pipe and a wiper motor. The coolest thing is you end up loading your own sounds into the prop so you can totally customize it.

Great job. What you probably got was a Demo. The way these things are made, it probably couldn't make it through a season of store demo without breaking. I've got so many Gemmy's around that I finally bought a big bag of plastic gears. I have Zultan that I'll probably get around to, some day.

This DJ skeleton could use a Bluetooth connection. That way, if songs are requested, he could play it through Bluetooth. He should also have a saying whenever the Bluetooth connection is ready. He should say, oh yeah, I feel like I’m going to have some more spooky tunes for my selection. Some certain songs that the DJ skeleton should play for requests are Michael, Jackson’s thriller, the monster mash, and somebody’s watching me. Also, when the DJ skeleton says my selection, he’s referring to his Halloween playlist.

(Sorry I’m just assuming) but yeah, they accidentally sent me a returned model and mine would snap, reset, and then snap down again and continue doing that. This is a very common issue among the widow animatronic but I replaced both the belts and that seemed to fix the issue. I apologize about not being able to show the process, I was also in the process of unboxing other animatronics that I didn’t get to film due to shortage of time. I was upset about the fact that they sent me a returned model even though I paid full price? Anyways, thanks for this video.

Bought this today for $50 because of this problem and it was the little cam /gear that slipped. Toughest part was getting the head back on lol I need better glasses to see those small screws lol thanks for the help!

yeah mine got Jacked up by me the Gears In the Motor were broke And I didn't know how to put them back in The speaker didn't work before I have already repaired that Other than that Almost everything works

Super helpful I already set up the dog house and then when I try to connect the fog machine later I couldn't find these buttons because they were on the side and it's kind of hard to see when the wiring is inside of the dog house
