Thank you for making this playthrough. I'm part of the many who tried this game many years back blind with little success. Now I couldn't play it myself very readily, so it was very nice to finally see what I'd missed out on. Definitely a flawed game, but somehow I always got reminded of it. It's got charm, but it sure gives little direction. I'd say I wished for a remaster of it that adds much desired quality of life changes, but I guess this wasn't quite famous enough to warrant that. Still, I hope I'll continue remembering this game. Also, all the way through I was reminded of Suikoden games. Maybe 3 or 4. Just in the enemy designs and the whole weapon upgrade thing.

I played from second hand shop this game over 2002-2003, and had to print a guide in paper of gamefaqs to beat it. I wasn't sure about beating it, but seeing this ending has remind me. Underrated game, which needed a guide to be played.

I have a question. If Mouse is KANON and also dangerous..... whyyyyy are they not killing him? It's been told already, a KANON can kill someone out of the time loop, like, for real. Why all this "I'll send to you this very dangerous place" nonsense? Also, I haven't said this yet, but thank you so much for going through all of this, and editing the boring parts out. I'm going through the entire playlist to both watch and like all the videos.

Rummy is cool, but I'm more interested in the character of Mouse. He doesn't say anything, but by his movements you can get what he's thinking. And most of the time he has this duality between "get everything and run" and "stay and try help them". I guess I like characters like that. And also the weird focus from Xe.... Xeeeee.... Xeeeepho..... Xephiroth that falls on him. 4:23 Our boy finally got a dialog box!

Thank you so much for uploading a full playthrough of this game. I played this game years ago when I was in middle school. Back then, I wasn’t able to get very far in the game. Everything was too confusing for me. I was very excited to see this game’s ending. Now that I’ve seen it, I must say it is quite lackluster. I remember you saying this game has 3 different endings. Is this true? I was thinking that the ending would result in Mouse staying on the island and living with the princess in the castle. Is this one of the endings? I appreciate any information on this topic. Thanks in advance.

Where's part 2?

Theres actually 3 endings to this game. This one where all three musicians get together. The solo ending where you don’t recruit beak and fang. And the rummy ending where you don’t recruit fang. Solo ending = ignore saving kyle the sailor from the monster in the dungeon Rummy ending= kill the boss in less than 3 turns before fang arrives.
