I felt this way when I first finished Persona 4 (PS2) 16 years ago especially the ending, I felt empty for I don't know how long, however after playing Golden on PC (2020) and seeing the epilogue I actually felt relieved. Seeing the gang one more time after all they've been through was just so.. uplifting, it felt like they also grew up with me. It gave me a closure to what I was looking for back in 2008.

I never had a huge backlog of games until I got a Steam Deck. Now I have over 300 games. 😂

Gaming backlogs are a strange beast! Sometimes I feel like I want to play a game to get it off the backlog, or just to make the number smaller (I'm also sitting around 100+ if that makes you feel better). I've tried so many "fun" ways of working through it all - themed months, writing reviews, etc. - but none of them really make it seem less daunting. Yesterday I picked up a game on a whim that's been in my backlog since release (Islets). Initially I thought, "oh this is an indie game, I'll be able to clear it out quickly" but after an hour my attitude changed to "oh this game is f***ing amazing, I want to take my time with it." And I think about it all the time that I'm not playing it! It's nice to have that feeling about a game again and to be sort of "consumed" by the excitement of it rather than seeing it as a chore. PS: I love the music choices in this video, I recognised Toothless Dance (I forgot the actual name) and the hangout music from Persona 4 :)

I have a similar experience as you. It's not Minecraft itself that became worse, but it's me that doesn't enjoy it the same as before: 1. The childish, casual and happy-go-lucky personality that I had years back then was most suitable for minecraft and the minigames and servers that i used to play there. Now i just dont feel anything other than nostalgia going back. 2. All, not just the majority, but all of my friends that I made from Minecraft have likely left it. How do I know? By searching their usernames on NameMC and despite most of them changing their name every one or two months at the period we were active, now everyone has last changed it years ago. We used to play Creative at a server called MineHeroes, and even though I've been active there for like 2 or 3 months, I've had some of my most memorable moments there. Now the server is basically dead with 0 people online most of the time (back then I think it was between 500 to 2k).

As someone who LOVES foxes, this, the whole thing made my night WAAYYY better! FOXES ARE UNDERATED IN MY OPINION!!

The lesson is simple - enjoy your hobby the way you want. If having a backlog helps you to enjoy gaming - have it. If NOT having a backlog helps you to enjoy gaming - guess what? Don't have it. Personally, keeping track of my backlog helps me with playing more games and enjoy games more. Sometimes, I might get into a game only after 10, 20, or even more hours, so sometimes I really need to push myself to play some games before I start loving it but it's important to keep balance between "trying something new" and "just enjoy playing what you're playing". The best thing about gaming - you can play till you're 90 years old and that hobby won't get stale, since there's just that many good games!

Hey Ruubzy, I love the way you take us with you in your thought process to create something out of nothing. Will u be turning this into a series? Because I think it would be nice if you make a series out of this, where the focus lies on creating instead of survivaling :)

Taking another look at the house, I realise that Acacia logs might actually be a bit darker than Tuff. So maybe a better gradient would be: Acacia Log, Tuff, Gravel. Oh well :)

Could you do some tutorials based on Waddle Dee town from Kirby and the forgotten land

Among the 3 houses, the second one looks the best, in my opinion. The first one lacked contrast, and made the house really dark. The third one was, in lack of a better term, kinda tacky, probably due to the yellow outlines. It didn't exactly work well with the red and green colors, and it was also too bright. Which leads to the second house being the best one, personally. The two colors were just enough to make the build look aesthetically pleasing. They were able to contrast well, separating the roof from the walls. If one wants to incorporate other colors to the build, I think it should be noted to only do it in small portions, so that the main color scheme of red and green aren't disrupted.

Can we get a tutorial?

For about a month, well from last August up until this Friday, I started playing games in Alphabetical order because I knew that the backlog would just grow way too big and there will be games that will never get touched but it , I enjoyed many of the games but I never got to really immerse myself in the story coz it felt like I was speedrunning then suddenly I just said screw the alphabetical order and played Zelda for a while, I learned two things from that experience, you'll burn out and maybe a backlog of games isn't that bad,its unhealthy definitely but maybe it isn't that bad.

Around 2 years ago with this video i was able to recreate the entire build on on older version me and my friends play on. (Legacy ps4 edition) And it was on one of my battle maps and to this day its the most nostalgic memory of minecraft i have. This video spiraled a good chunk of my life. Wanted to say thank you for this video. ❤️
