How do you get that sneeze when the gears change?
I ONLY DRIVE MY 2020 M340I in sport plus only!!! idc about the other modes trust me lol
Great car, had mine 3 weeks and just figuring out how economical it can be, sports plus button is still too tempting lol
I installed mine on 2020 m340i today and the sound is too quiet...
Mst intakes for m340 are by far the loudest
I'm not sure what's going on but the sound got louder on my Dinan intake lol I love it
I have pretty much an identical M340i to yours, except mine's a 2021. I agree with you, I've found nothing to complain about after 1.5 months of ownership. I'm in love.
Your dinan intake has the built in strut brace cut out, that’s a mod you should add for sure. I think you can get the dinan branded brace.
Pre facelift or facelift? RWD or XDrive? Which combination do you think is best?
You answered pre lci. But what about x drive vs rwd?
Completely agree, the only thing I don’t like on mine is that I don’t have the Harman Kardon sound system but that’s on me, the rattle on my m340i was the passenger seatbelt that hit the pilar when is not in use, maybe is the same on yours.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to NH. I live there and have a 2022 m340i xdrive with 5,500 miles on it. It's black metallic and still stock. The only changes I've made so far is stainless quad tips, and carbon comp trunk lid spoiler. I just put it up for the winter cos i don't need it as i have other vehicles. What a great car to own and drive. Good to hear you're enjoying yours.

I still think Audi has a better interior. BMW is too Styrofoam happy. That said, the motors are worlds apart with the turbo lag you have to endure on the Audi S4 I test drove.

I am planing on getting the 2024 model in 2 days how’s the maintenance it being a BMW that’s the main thing I am worried about
I haven’t had to do any maintenance out of pocket about a month ago I had this strange creaking noise whenever I turned the wheel at very slow speeds, took it into the dealer they determined that I needed a new control arm and both tie rods. It cost be $0 because of warranty and it was fixed within a day
I don’t want to know what it would have costed outside of the warranty, and I will say i was surprised that happened because my car only has 17k miles on it

What does your maintenance schedule and cost run you? Looking at getting one but trying to add up everything.
So far after about 9 months of having the car I’ve spent $0 in maintenance. I’m not sure of the exact defined maintenance schedule from BMW, but the car only has 16,000 miles on it so I don’t expect any major repair bills anytime soon
Plan on having about 2-3k saved up in case anything goes wrong. People think that bmws are unreliable and that is severely wrong. Maintenance will cost you when something goes wrong but especially the b58 and zf 8spd will not leave you stranded with proper care
Hey! Odd question, do the side mirrors fold in when locked?
Yes! And I have the settings configured so when I walk away the car locks and the mirrors fold automatically (any time the car locks) There is also a button on the drivers side door next to where you adjust the mirrors to fold in the mirrors while inside the car or driving, if you need to get into a tight garage or parking spot

I like the car a lot. I don't like the plastic front grill though.
Cooled seats absolutely make a huge difference down here in the south east. I had them on my scatpack and now that that car is gone, I really miss them. Also, IMO the biggest gripe with the m340i is A) not getting the custom colors here in the USA. Only cars built in Germany get that option and B) having to pay $1700 for lane keep assist cruise control and $700 for a parking sensors is absolutely criminal and those kinds of things come standard on a Golf GTI costing half as much as one of these. Also, $2500 for the m-performance exhaust is hilarious. Yet... despite all this, DESPITE ALL THIS... I paid for all of that :|
I do miss the cooled seats even with ceramic tinted windows the seats still Get warm and sweaty, and the prices for the options are crazy but nice to have!

Thinking about trading in my 2023 is350 for this one
I just picked up the new 2023 m340. I traded in my 2020 m340 and honestly I wish I had bought it out at the end of its lease. You really got the real deal with that model. Exhaust sounds was better in the older model and the infotainment is also superior. Great find, congratulations on the car
Thank you! And that is cool that you have gotten to experience both, I haven’t sat in or driven an LCI M340i but from what I’ve seen online I definitely agree that the pre-LCI is superior

hows the resale on those bad boys? the 330i is garbage , the M's seem to hold more
Definitely M cars hold more value, I got this car last October, have driven it about 4K miles and I’m confident I would get the same amount I paid for it in a private sale
There is also not very many low mile cars that go up for sale and additionally have the options that my car does, this helps keep the value up, people really don’t sell them as much as other cars

That’s awesome, I would choose the cognac interior over the black 10/10 times, sounds like you got a great spec! Congratulations One of my favorite things about the laser lights is how they move left to right when you turn the steering wheel. Also I highly recommend the black grill and front bumper trim pieces, along with the carbon mirrors, it drastically changes the look of the car for not too much money.
im from mass too bro , I just wanted to know how expensive is it to maintain this car im thinking about getting one , how much is maintenance and the car note if you dont mind me asking. and another question , does the M version of the car sound different from the regular version
That’s great! I love it here in MA. So far the maintenance has been $0. I bought the car with 10,600 miles and I’ve since put on only 3,800 in about 6 and a half months, she has given me 0 issues. I don’t generally share how much the care payment is, but it is relatively low, I put down a large down payment and also traded in my 2018 Honda accord touring 2.0 which was partially paid off. I definitely recommend a larger down payment and waiting until you can get to a very comfortable monthly payment before hopping in a new car. The m340 is drastically different than the standard 330i, sound/performance/looks/engine/etc, it is better in essentially every way. Then the big brother of the m340 is the M3 which is also a relatively drastic difference from an m340
I have a 21 Altima the m340 definitely has my attention I’m not a fan of the newer ones so I been looking at 2020-2022. Here in North Carolina I have seen some in mid to high 40k range so I’m trying to decide what to do Keep doing your vids they help a lot
That would be awesome! And I definitely agree, the pre LCI models are much better looking inside and out. I recommended sitting tight and finding one with lower miles and all of the features you want, it is worth the wait! Thank you for watching, I hope to start putting out more videos again soon

Welcome to BMW. I can feel your emotions and adoration as you're talking about your car. That was the same feeling I had when I purchased my first BMW more than 17 years ago. I also used to own Hondas, and once I started on the BMW journey, I never looked back. You'll soon find out that all the FUDs about BMWs are old wives tales from yesteryears. My first BMW (an E46) held up better than any Hondas I've ever owned, and when I finally sold it after 120K miles, it was practically new with what essentially were just maintenance bills. I'm now on my fourth BMW, we have 2 in the family and I couldn't think of a better combo for what they bring as far as completeness. Quietly, BMW has become one of the most reliable cars you can buy on the market today. You mentioned a rattle on the right door, were the upgraded speakers part of an OEM package or aftermarket? If they're not the Harman Kardon, you might want to remove the door panel to see if anything is loose, otherwise take it back to the dealership. Enjoy.
Thank you for your message! I definitely have an appreciation for the quality of the car, it is an incredible machine and like nothing I have experienced. The speakers are Harmon karden, I have since discovered the noise is actually from the sunroof, which I have seen a few others discuss in the forums. I hope to make another video soon with an update!

The is350 is also a beautiful car, I love seeing them on the road. Some of my favorite taillights out of any sedan too
