    Hi! I am an IMG currently stuck between choosing neurology or internal medicine, I like the diagnose process of neurology disease, but I also heard that life as a neurology resident is quite exhausting. I’m easy to burn out.Do you still recommend chosing it?Thanks😊

    It's seriously fascinating why on earth could anyone need to establish dominance on people so insignificant and vulnerable, as if the life-recking "diagnostic" labels weren't enough. Do you know people take cups of alcohol free beer from us during family events, even though it's alcohol free, and everybody knows it, but they just had to kick the dying horse? Kids point us out in public and laugh at us? What's there to dissect?

    I knew a guy who ended his psychiatric schooling to devote himself to being a volunteer for many years, because of what he'd been exposed to (earlier, he was a RN). You guys are good actors, alright 😂! It would take brain activity scans to expose your psychopathy, from what I know. That, you can't fool.

    I'm gonna be having shrink after shrink grooming the public videos now, driving me nuts, cause such an abusive, and outright insane in its very self practice should be illegal in the first place, where you get to mess with the most important organ, that you have absolutely no clue about, with absolutely anything next big pharma wants to do that "pay 100 million in recompensations, but earn billions anyway" business.

    • @arthurrock4979

      Your sick practice should be illegal, and you should be in jail.

      @@arthurrock4979sorry u think this way .. what makes u have this view? Doctors spend many years studying the brain, behavior, and I myself as a believer also have some other deep insight..

    Why are you prescribing people such dangerous dope, that it has to have a warning label for causing suicidal and homicidal tendencies, yet itself had been proven to be marginally more effective than placebo? Is what the diabetes, viagra, heart condition dope manufacturers pay also worth it? Man! That must be a good buck, or two, alright.

    That's a very interesting question 😊! What's behind your obsessive craving of such absolute control over another creature (because, let's be honest, you do not see your patients as human beings)? What happened during childhood? Did mean little Johnny bully you during preschool 😮? Did it make you so, so, so upset? Seriously, folks, it's the sick treating the sick at psych wards, with absolutely nobody actually healthy in the head monitoring anything. Every psych facility is in dire need of regular volunteer visits at least once a week, who had been trained in dirty little secrets. A patient suddenly "running laps on walls from the unimaginable torment", what he/she never did before, nor will ever be after, only during being force-doped with this garbage to pacify conditions you only have theories for, is not their "mental illness". It's the effect of taking garbage he/she should not be taking, and we don't care how much you need the illegal research to be able to afford your brat's convertible sports car, we're informing the cops, and you're going to jail, where you won't be able to harm people anymore ☺️! Imagine that! Wow!

    Thank you for this really helpful video! 👍👍👍Can I please ask the difference between clinical psychologist and psychiatrist? I am struggling to choose one the subjects, clinical psychology or medicine😂 As some websites said psychiatrists do not usually do therapy and can prescribe medicine, but many psychiatrists also do the therapy, so does that mean the only difference of the working contents between psychiatrists and clinical psychologists is medicine prescription? Thank you!

    I have been looking for neurologist RUclips channels that post informative content, but all I am finding is many neurologists posting 'A Day in The Life of a Neurologist.' People want some neuro information not what your day is like! Especially being that your average person worries about things like, how to make rent.

    Thanks for making this, I know I got a lot from it personally. I feel myself drawn towards psychiatry, but there is one thing that concerns me and that is the prescribing of medication. Do you guys try to avoid prescribing meds as much as possible and can someone be a psychiatrist and not prescribe medication at all?

    • @jello7177
      @jello7177 Год назад

      Hopefully this is helpful after 2 years😭 I'm also leaned into psychiatry, and from what I understand most patients a psychiatrist might encounter will probably need medication since psychiatrists deal with more serious mental disorders then a psychologist would But I myself have had a similar thought, I feel like a lot of psychiatrist just prescribe medication and nothing more, if I succeed in becoming a psychiatrist I'd rather only give medication when actually needed and lean into psychotherapy

    • @Letstalk-zx7jx
