For stitching on perforated paper some ppl get stretcher bars of the size of the paper. Those wooden bars that when put together it looks like a wooden frame. Then tack the paper on with tacks

1- Welcome back! love your new hair! might not be new but it's new to me lol 2- I can't begin to imagine moving across the country with the amount of books you and Chris have. Did you purge the collection first or they all followed you? 3- I don't know how you can have so many WIPS going at the same time 😂 at least stitching doesnt look like it takes up too too much space? I started diamond painting, not really the same but in a similar vein of 'cozy hobbies' and I need a pretty big surface to work on each projects so it would be impossible to start multiple at the same time, but having variety is nice.

I love all your full coverage pieces❤. Have you tried stitching on 22 count hardanger fabric. I used to only stitch on 25 count. One day I tried 22 count and fell in love with it. I only like it if I am stitching full coverage.

Love the thread for your Long Dog. HAEDs handling the usage of AI art is super ick. Like, I don't want the AI art, but if you're going to embrace it then own that, be open and honest about it. Say sorry this displeases some people but we are choosing to offer AI art. The banning of people from FB over mentioning it is so weird.

Thread is weird. I have huge tactile issues with cotton and silk fiber, but cotton threads, silk threads? Almost never and issue. Some silk threads give me the heebie jeebies, but I don't use them enough to even remember what brand lol I can't get enough of Sluagh. Kayli is a true artist.

I consider myself a chart collector lol. I figure it supports the artist, in hopes of bringing more charts. If I don't get them made, hopefully a family member might. Your stats are really cool. I just started my first full coverage at 50yrs old. I'm going the HP Stained Glass. Also have a 14" circle that is full coverage for my husband. There is way too many choices. Esp all the dyed fabrics. I started with it was white, beige, ecru and black. In 14 count Aida mostly. My favourite now is 28ct Lugana and 25 CT pre gridded for counting. That is so nice. I'm also going to try half cross as well. It's cool to see them look photo like. Glad to have stumbled onto your floss tube. All the best from Ont. Canada.

Love your projects! I so agree with you about the AI art and also haed. I stopped buying from them around the 01 debacle, but there had been more issues before that. Hope you have a great week and get to do what you like! :)

I strongly, strongly, strongly support your thoughts regarding AI. I have family members who are artists who can't get work because the of AI revolution. I see my clients, domestic and internationally, who do illustrations for a living, having a great deal of difficulty finding work. Heck, I'm a psychotherapist and worry about my job one day being replaced. I appreciate your thoughtfulness regarding this issue. I also love your stitching (and earrings!!!). Thank you for sharing your stitchy joy!!

I am totally with you regarding HAED. I too started the SAL and have since decided to not continue with it. I'll probably continue to stitch on it & other HAEDs I already have, but I'm not going to support them in the future.

Good Morning Giselle. Fantastic video. Totally agree about HAED. I was kicked off the offical haed facebook group when I complained about the 08 debacle. Trust the process, my behind. I was halfway through North American Mammals, when the 08 issue started. It still gives me a nasty taste in my mouth. I finished the piece and have never hung it as I hate it. I got sent the updated pattern when she finally admitted that there was an issue with the 08/09. And I had lots of patterns with issues and all was done was 3371 was replaced for the 08. No recharting done. Some of the patterns looked so wrong and I will never stitch them. That is when I started buying more patterns from Paine free crafts. But you think they must have gotten better over time so six or so months later you start buying from haed again. That was my mistake! I should never have done that. I have a firm stance against AI art. I feel it is stealing and we won’t have any artists if AI continues. You can see it is cheaper to use. That is why haed is using it. So funny saw one today. Was an old lady knitting. I thought that was cool. Then looked at it closer. It was snowing inside and outside. 😂. Thank you for the shout out. I have finished the first part of the haed sal. Only because I promised my husband I would do the piece your stitching as I loved the fox and he loved the red mushroom. I told him I would do the four pages for sure. I could easily do the whole thing but like you I don’t want 2 free charts from Haed. I would rather 2 free charts from charting creations or Paine free crafts. 😂. I hope my story made sense. Thank you for your very informative video. I fear I may sound ignorant, but I have to ask this question; How do I know a chart is AI? I don’t WANT to purchase AI charts, but I fear I may have some in my stash. I love Sheena’s art work and I am very sad to hear how she was treated by HAED. I will be scouring the other websites for new charts now that I know the artists have been picked up.

Holding up the tablet is totally fine! I use the app CapCut to put in overlays of what I’m talking about. It’s fairly easy and quick, but I totally understand if you don’t want to do that. I tend to edit my videos anyways because my dog gets too loud background or something and I have to cut that out 😂

Thank you for talking about the situation with HAED. I've stopped using Facebook so I had no idea they've started banning people for talking about AI art. I already hate that they release so many AI charts and I saw someone mentioning that they were supposed to get rid of any full AI charts, only to go and release their own. I'm extremely disappointed in them as they've been my favorite charting company since 2013 and I have so many of their charts. With all the AI charts floating around everywhere now I've gotten paranoid when looking at charts and I don't even feel like buying anything new anymore. Not that I need more charts, but it sucks seeing someone post a beautiful chart and then feeling uncertain if I even can buy it since I don't want to buy AI charts and not all of them are obvious AI. I have accidentally bought a few AI charts and I feel so bad about it, but I didn't notice until after I bought them and now I'm so much more careful, to the point that the joy of browsing for new charts is completely gone. The love I have for those charts I bought was also ruined. Since I did pay for them already (and the damage has already been done) I do feel okay stitching them, but I won't be showing my progress online if the chart is still available to buy to not inspire other people to buy them as well.

I like the stats but do whatever you like doing. Like on mine I don’t keep track of stitch counts or hours or anything but my sister can tell you down to the last stitch what she worked on 😂 we all approach this hobby differently and it’s fan-freakin-tastic! Great video ❤❤❤
