The dip stick will help out oil dip 409 is on left 348 on the right or reverse I'm not a100 percent sure
That is a 74 laguna but the slant front end was only made on the 75 and 76 lagunas.
These are checkwritten builds. Dont expect numbers matching. The car next to it is a Javelin with a buttload of AMX decals on it.
Sax cars no more cigars. All aboard 😉
great shot of the guy's plate! impressed with your knowledge....'cept the 95-2000 devilles are cool-off devilles. not as fun, but great for winter when summer driving is a more prickled model. my cut-off is when the wreath and crest smoothed out, after that ain't a cadillac.
There's great guides on how to fix the manufacture defect with Northstar V8s that can be done without even dropping the engine out. its not actually as bad as reddit makes it out to be
94-2006s arent attractive. They look rather cheap. Nice paint on them but they dropped the ball by then. A Nissan Maxima was more luxurious and more reliable. Shame. They didnt get right until the CT6 but the market moved past sedans then to SUVs.
@@SnepperStepTV northstar is just problems because you have to buy extra tools to service it
Why no opera lights on the exterior?
These didnt come like that. These are new bodies, fwd chassis. Opera lights were on tbe rwd chassis
@@broncomcbane6382u can add opera lights from the rwd chassis when you put a vinyl roof on
You don't know butt from your elbow.
That a truck I'd like to have.

Like that 74 road runner too and 4 speed to boot very nice
2:56 not quite. Pontiac was introduced as lower cost alternative to the Oakland. Just as La Salle was a lower cost alternative to Cadillac. Oakland went away in 1931 while the tin indian regrettably went away in 2009. Love that Pontiac beautifully restored. A helpful tip: please film the car card. It tells the story of the car and every car has a story. 9:54 and the Plymouth. From '56 to '62 they were known as the forward look cars. Nice job! After seeing all 4 my favorite is the Pontiac. It proves that somebody besides Chevy made cars in '57. This was in New York?
Yep. Ill film the car card next time. Its just hard to do when people are walking in front of it and also there are so many other beautiful cars. But if you do a search I also found the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville convertible and two 1959 Buicks the Invicta and Electra to counter this as another GM offering. What I want to see is the 59 Oldsmobile 98. I have posted 54, 55, 56, 57 and 58 Oldsmobiles and similar Chevrolet and Pontiac and Buicks and Cadillacs. I prefer the Olds models the best of GM brands. The 56-62 Chryslers I also have a few videos of Plymouth Suburbans, Belvederes, Furys, Chrysler Newport Windsors, NYers, Imperials, and I finally caught a pair of DeSotos a Fireflyte and Firedome but it was nighttime. Dodges are rare from this era to find.
YES this was in New York. Some of the video was the Adirondack Nationals in Lake George. Others are the Queens Historical Society Club in Bayshore, Queens. Some are the Northern New Jersey Cadillac LaSalle Club others from the Staten Island Annual Antique Show. Some features are from the South Jersey Olds Club or Pelham Bay Catholic Church fundraisers, etc.
@broncomcbane6382 yes those big fin cars are very cool. De Sotos Edsels Mercurys, I love 'em all. Most MOPARS from the '50's and '60's are hard to find. Engineering wise they were 2nd to none but the build quality was for sh*t. Most of them rusted away or met a sad fate at the local demo derby. You have a good eye so keep the videos coming. Remember different is better so if see a Chevette film it! Real car guys will appreciate it's rareity not that it was a piece of crap when it was new. From a cold and windy windy city enjoy. Spring will be here before we know it.
What type of engine does this car have
Ill get back to you on that. I BELIEVE it had a straight 6 with 3 Weber updraft carburetors. This I believe is an early 1970s model. I could be wrong...I recorded this car at another show in more detail. Im trying to find that memory card.
Wow...!!! Very cool car, your knowledge on these cars is fascinating. Must be such a smooth car to cruise around in.
Have you ever seen the album cover for The Dazz Band album titled "Brick"? These cars were made for long US road trips back when the Interstate system was brand new.
that couple look so cheesed to have you so interested! awesome coverage
He even dressed up as a 1970s era Mafia Don as a throwback. Joey "Big Knuckles" Travalgante 😂😅 and his foxy dame Marva😄
i love this generation of imperial
Me too. Absolutely underrated. Man I wish I was balling back in the 1970s!
Man, it was almost like a time travel. Where did you film it?
New Jersey Dead Mans Curve
So Gangsta😊
I can dig it, Mopar or no car.
There was one more engine available in this generation of Thunderbird : Ford's long-running 200-cid (3.3-liter) inline six, first as a credit option in mid-year '80, then standard in 1981 and '82. That engine, dating back to '63, was a dog, even worse than the 4.2.V-8. I wondered what the heck Ford was thinking!
Never knew!
This car reminds me of the opening scene of the television show "Room 222" (ABC, 1969-74). The actor was Lloyd Haynes, who played the role of teacher Pete Dixon on the show. Co-stars also included Denise Nicholas, Karen Valentine, and Michael Constantine. Mr. Haynes died on New Year's Day 1987, at the age of 52.
Never heard.of the show
PLS. NOTE: This is a 1952, not a 1950 Ford. Just an FYI
The last year for the Imperial was 75. The Imperial name was around in the late 20s. The Imperial body style and interior was carried over to the New Yorker in 76. If you ever see a 76 New Yorker with the small rear window it's a 75 Imperial that has been rebadged to a 76 New Yorker
@@johnfitcheard7112 sure is and I covered that in the video
There is no "conversion" on the brakes, Rambler and Cadillac had dual-circuit brakes from 1962.
Hey bronco love the video! i want to drop here some informations abour this car: Chrysler operations in argentina and brazil were completely independent from eachother. Chrysler/ dodge only existed in brazil because the french car manufacturer Simca "forced" them to buy all factories including the brazilian one. They made redesigned simca cars like the Chrysler Esplanada and the Regente GTX for a short period before launching the dart in 69 Only the 318 was offered for the dart/charger in brazil. if i'm not mistaken the charger came initially with a version of the 318 with higher compression.
@@BMPellogia hey thabk you for the extra information. Heres to see what 2025 brings at the car shows
Many things standard on Imperial were options on 76-77-78 New Yorker Brougham. The late 70s New Yorker sold well. The ride quality and comfort was hard to beat.
@@bradhampton6457 yep sure. was
The confusion is using numbers for the trim level. We had the 63 station wagon back in 68. We liked it but wasn't big enough for a Brady Bunch wknd. Dad traded up to a 67 Galaxie Country Squire, ac and more seating.
@@davidkastin4240 yep! Exactly. The numbers have arbitrary meanings.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 383 AND A 440 IS THE 383 IS A LOW BLOCK - BIG BLOCK , THE 440 IS A RB - RAISED BLOCK BIG BLOCK , THE REASON IS THE 440 & 426 HEMI HAVE LONGER CONNECTING RODS THERFORE HAVING A LONGER STROKE !!
I think 383 was a big block. 318, 340 and 360 is a small block
@@antoniohosino145 yep sure is.
@@mellowoutman4516 yes 383 is a BIg block. But there are engine in this family The B family that have higher deck height because of said longer stroke, the 413, 426 and 440 which differ primarily from higher deck height so respectfully named the RB family as in "raised B". The Mopar 383 is unappreciated but a quite dynamic engine. They are really cheap now. Now dont be confused the Chevy 383 and Ford 383 strokers are small block V8s.
@@broncomcbane6382 My buddy had a 383 six pack red 1970 Challenger. R/T Cops impounded it and he never got it back.
In '63 AMC was using a Borg-Warner automatic & this is a Classic 660 as you said, but headline says 770....nice car!
@@dennislettich4035 i cant really tell the difference between a 660 and 770. The week I recorded this video...as a 660...I went to Lake George and a guy from Boston had the same car but his was a 770.
Rambler became American Motors Corporation (AMC) and then AMC was taken over by Dodge/Chrysler in the mid-1970's I believe. The problem you'll run into with these cars is parts, they were a niche brand and they didn't sell a whole lot of cars, so finding parts for these can be a challenge.
Perfect 66!
That's a pretty ride!
Yummy, the yellow banana cream Cordobas are edible 😊
So beautiful. The L88 hood goes on for miles. The flake is evenly distributed. The Black Cherry is fantastic. Great car all around.
66 not 75
Who said 1975?
Nice classics. Also the Phila Truck and Csr Show is this week. FYI
Hard body 🔥 🔥 🔥
These cars were fast too for the time
Sure were. With 93 octane these cars flew
Great cars
Where is the silent "C" ?
Gorgeous 😮😍
Had a 70 Duster 340 back in the day. Quick little car. Probably about 500 lbs.less than a Roadrunner.
That's whats up! Really sexy!

@@alanstrong55 no. What happens is there are so many cars at these shows and im trying to captute them all that some cars Im just too tired to speak.
Whereabouts are you located...out in the West Coast somewhere? They seem to be some small shows unless they're just cruise-in events that you are filming?
@@Kman. Small shows? there are at least 200 cars here at this show. These are shows in the New York City area
@@broncomcbane6382 I didn't STATE small shows...I was ASKING, not even knowing if the videos of separate cars were all at ONE show, or MULTIPLE shows. ~:) New York, _B-r-r-r-r.
@Kman. Multiple shows over April to November. Most are community shows, church shows, some semi-nationals or make specific events.
@@broncomcbane6382 Copy that. Yeah, the last few years has seen a _SURGE_ in church car shows. It's like they're jumping on the bandwagon & see how profitable they can be, & generally for good causes. Granted, they "generally" are smaller, but they usually put good one on.
@Kman. Also an effort to get new parishioners. Churches are suffering in the Era of Me, Myself and I'deology.
This is a 35, not a 37.
My fault entirely
They still had mechanical brakes GM had moved hydraulic brakes
Even a Chevy guy knows that this is a ‘35 not a ‘37.
Ok
Wouldn't that be "Four Door", not FOR?
Not in Fordese.
@@jamesbosworth4191 ? I'm missing the joke I reckon. Help me out if you would~:)
@@Kman. Its not a joke, that is the Ford advertised it. 4 door sedans were called Fordor Sedans, 2 door sedans were called Tudor Sedans. They used those terms into the 50s. Check out period advertising if you don't believe it. Just like Ford never advertised the 59 Galaxie as a "Fairlane 500 Galaxie", just "Ford Galaxie", never advertised the 59 Meteor Montcalm as a "Ridaeu 500 Montcalm", just "Meteor Montcalm", and Chevrolet never advertised the 58 Impala as "Bel Air Impala", just "Chevy Impala".
@jamesbosworth4191 no, I don't doubt that at all, I just never heard that. In fact, not being familiar with that particular car, I queried "Four Door" and my search did not correct me when it pulled up pictures on the automobile. Thanks for the information. 👍
@jamesbosworth4191 As far as the Tudor goes which I have heard of, I have pronounced that all along like Two-dur... Is the pronunciation two door or Two-dur?
Beautiful ride 😮
