Interesting your not rubbing with the 35’s buti expect that’s because you have the aftermarket bar. I have the factory bar with Maxxis razr 295/70r17 on factory steelies no lift yet and I get slight rubbing on front bar plastics on the outside tyre edge only when on full lock and full compression. Slight rubbing on on inner rear but that was resolved by pulling the inner trim back with a zip tie. It gets held out a bit but the fuel filler and adblue hoses

Totally agree about the off-road steering- it’s perfect! To be honest, it’s good on tarmac too- planted and heavy just the way I like! Got tired of my 200 series’ twitchy steering😮

Am not lifting my Gren at all, until I see the results of the USA lifts etc (already there are lift associated driveline issues). Would love a bit of extra height, but so far will just be going for 33’s.

How is the gearing with the 35” tire? Any front driveshaft angle issue?

Sorry I didn’t catch what tires and size you were running - interesting that you didn’t do a lift. A lot of discussion on the owners’ forum about blown front drive shafts for anyone with a lift. You see any issues with the new tires, since you didn’t do a lift?

That's a weird location. Where you place the ladder for the tent.

For the CV joints, look into Teraflex. They make high ankle CV joints for the Jeeps. You may be able to make it work.

Went to Purchase a topper for my Chevy truck, online it says it won't be ready til December 24, 2024 then it'll be shipped. Crazy to have to wait months for a topper. Then I went to get the drawer system, don't have it for the Chevy Trucks. Bummer

my uncle got the quatermaster and we did a winter trip a couple weeks ago nothing to hard but there were alot of ice in the puddles some puddles were just up to the front bumper maybe 3/4 the way up the tyres the quatermaster was never the lead vehicle so didn't have to brake through the ice but it still got a lot of damage to the small grills on the wing of the factory bumper and the gray bash plate below the winch acted like a funnel and broke the mesh and left a lot of damage on the radiator i am sure the same thing will happen in thick mud holes not grate if you plan on using them on harder tracks.

The question is are tracks the new 40’s. Seriously I had more fun and went everywhere I wanted in my 1980 CJ 5 with a 151 four cylinder GM and 33’s.

Great solution for mounting the tent. I like the fact you are using the existing load capacity of the roof, upgrading the side bars and keeping everything low profile. The awning mount is the neatest I've seen as well. Good work 👍

Awesome stuff! Thank you for bring up potential issues with a transitional lift. I don’t think this was addressed by anyone else. Any potential for a front sway bar disconnect? I’d have no issues with a manual disconnect.

The question is if it’s a matter of weight, it’s not that big of a difference but if you keep adding stuff that is heavy and steal, it becomes an issue so then you would want aluminum if you think you’re gonna futuristically keep building on it but aluminum is the way to go no rust Leslie and you did a good job with the bumper looks bad ass how much is one Just raw no pain
