For my hair, I prefer Ketastase. However, running a salon, I prefer Kerastase for shampoos, conditioners, scalp products/ serums and hair oils. And I prefer Oribe for styling products.

This has actually shocked me hun I’ve tried both and I think oribe definitely makes my hair more glamorous. And shiny etc. have you ever tried Amika the Kure line ? That’s also up there with my holy grails too also did you get to try out shu uemura ? Think thats Kérastase sister brand x

@leonaball196 there are definitely Oribe products I prefer over Kerastase. My hair has gotten finer over the years so I’ve been having to readjust what I use. I have tried Amika and what I tried I didn’t love. It was nice but I never repurchased. I’m am wanting to try Shu Uemura bc that’s the luxury line to Kerastase but I haven’t had a chance yet. I definitely think the styling products from Oribe are way better than Kerastase.

What do you mean? Some people have straight hair, some prefer to wear their hair straight. A lot of people was wavy, curly or coily hair and love it wear it like that. My hair naturally is curly and frizzy and I wear it straight 🤷🏼‍♀️

Most keratin treatments are tedious… I have a lot of hair (length wise) so for me it takes about 2 1/2 hours. But if you only do it twice a year it’s not too bad.

The golden one might not do too much. If you use the tobacco, it’ll darken it even more. My suggestion would be the next time you go, to have them go a little lighter that way you can use the golden to tone them in between if that’s the tone you like. That way you’ll always have dimension.

Hi! Yes, I can break that down. If you’re needing a recommendation now here are some of my faves: Kerastase Chroma Kerastase Premiere Davines (I love almost all of them) Oribe Alchemy Oribe Supershine PS- you can use any conditioner. It’s only the shampoos that have sulfates.

If you have thick hair, I think you’d love it. If you have fine to normal hair it could be too heavy. If that’s the case I’d recommend Kerastase Discipline Oleo. It’s a lighter weight line but works great at getting rid of frizz.

Personally I prefer the split end serum. The premiere oil can get too heavy for me whereas the split end serum I can put that in dry or wet hair.

I would say the genesis would be the better line for postpartum. Genesis will help to strengthened weakened hair.

The Riche shampoo is more focused on hydration, while the Curl Manifesto shampoo is specifically for curls! It really depends on what your hair is needing.

I’d be interested to see how it works for you. We typically recommend the Supershine cream to those who blowout their hair smooth. We typically recommend the curl cream/ gel to those who wear their hair curly bc those products do have frizz control in them. I’m not saying his recommendation is wrong by any means I just haven’t heard of that combo before which is why I’m curious how it works out. He may have a hidden trick that I’m not aware of. 🥰

@@JeniferLarson Well the thing is the curl cream and gel have not been enough to deal with the frizz and dryness of that top layer. So that's why he suggested it. They were all raving about it even to use to touch up when it's dry. I am at a loss for that area. The whole texture is different. Underneath it's nice and healthy with nice smooth curls. Oribe is great but so pricey so I hope it works!

If it doesn’t work for you I’d say return it.

I personally haven’t tried it but it is our top selling serum in the salon. A lot of our clients love it. I will say the Genesis serum is much larger than the extensioniste serum.

I would say the Kerastase Chroma shampoo. I personally don’t like Redken but if you wanted to try them, go with a color safe shampoo.

Any of them would be fine! If you’re wanting something lightweight I would go with Densifique.

Hey just went to my bathroom yes mine is called supershine hun I absolutely love this line and I have fine hair and it doesn’t weight my hair down either. I love your views on products. Oribe & shu uemura are now my fav x

I’ve never heard of anyone having issues but if you have questions, check with your doctor.

For hair growth I’d say Extentioniste, if you want more fullness then Densifique. Both lines will give you shine but if you want to preserve your color and have extra shine, then go with Chroma.

No chroma just help preserve color and add shine.

I would say if you’re having breakage due to damage, I would use the architect or therapiste line. Or… I would say get the K18 mask (that’s honestly my favorite for damaged hair). If it’s breakage due to weak hair, I would go with the Genesis line. The premiere is honestly amazing! It’s a great line to alternate with. Looking at your picture, it looks like you have some gorgeous curls!! Once your hair is repaired from breakage, I would try the curl line. It’s add hydration without weighting your curls down and the line will help to enhance the curl/coil.

You layer the pre shampoo and the shampoo then rinse and apply conditioner.

I would say either the nutritive mask or the discipline mask (for frizz) depending on what you’d like to tackle. 🥰

I don’t believe the new mirror treatment in the Supershine line has UV protection in it. The drops I’m not sad about. To be honest, I didn’t love them. If you’re wanting UV protection, I would just spray Invisible Defense in your hair.

@JeniferLarson if you ever do, an update/comparison on them would be interesting. Maybe even including a few others such as the Hair Alchemy shampoo, since you mentioned it isn’t as heavy as their other shampoos.

I don’t know that the new line contains the pearl. They reformulated it and it’s now called Supershine.

The curl line might be heavy for you. I’d also probably skip Gold Lust. Gold Lust can be really heavy especially if your hair isn’t super damaged and in need of all that protein. Gold Lust is even too heavy for my hair. I’d say try Alchemy. Everyone I know (including myself) loves the line!
