@@brentcrawford2574 is your guitar an spruce or cedar top ? I am looking into both, of course sometimes cedar seems a little more softer or some of the brilliance is missing, although I understand this can be adjusted somewhat with technique and different strings ? Your thoughts ?

Brent Ive seen a lot of renditions of this piece, and I have personally been working my own for a while. Trying to perfect the nuances and come up with my own ideal interpretation. Yours is by far the best Ive seen and I constantly draw a lot of inspiration from it, thanks man. Please upload more videos. your technique is beautiful.

Great playing of these difficult pieces. Excellent guitar. Really love your tone. Please never change. Don't do the double top bs that so many players are doing. This guitar has perfect balance and no wolfnotes at all, also none of the nasal fake sound double tops have. This is real and full of substance. Just a good solid classical guitar tone. Great interpretation. Please share more videos when you can. Love listening to you play.

Because I am looking to upgrade in guitars, and have found that the world of expensive classical guitars can be wrought with pitfalls, as you must know.
I've listened to quite a few versions of this piece now, but I always come back to Brent's interpretation of Assad's work. When I'm having a rotten day, I listen to the second movement and without fail, by the end I'm calm and happy. Thank you Brent!

I've heard many versions and yours and badi assad's are my favorites
Your fingering of the main theme with C7 rather than C9 as written is genius, as it means that you can play the middle voice D without using your 4th finger, which is hard to use without muting the melody. I think I'll adopt this!
