Akrapovic Idle, takeoff, distance flyby - Next video I will try to make flybys at higher speeds. Challenge is finding a good place to get speed and place the camera safely. Still adjusting some things with both cameras, but may very well attach one to the frame to catch the sound while riding.

KeyStep Pro manipulating a TD-3, Digitakt, Digitone, and Drumbrute impact through a Midihub.
Hi, can you share why do you use Keystep Pro when you have two elektron boxes? What do you like about its sequencer over the elektron one? I'm debating whether to get a Digitone + Keystep Pro or Keystep 37.
Hi. I'm having some difficulties connecting my Td3 to the keystep. The midi channel is set on 4. But it seems to always play a seq from the Td3 along with the notes on the keystep.
Hi! Yea, I found this to be the problem with me as well, so what I've had to do is once I press play on the KeyStep, I have to manually stop the sequence on the TD-3 by pressing Start/Stop. I don't think there's a workaround.
@@iamoperator oh ok! I thought I was doing something wrong!
No such thing as a loud exhaust, that statement is blasphemy!!!
I've got the same bike, also the 2021. but the black one.. I've got an sc project exhaust on mine, and it sounds amazing.. pretty loud though.. but it makes nice pops, so I cant complain.
I’ve been trying to remove the baffle from the muffler but am having a tough time, any advice?
If it's not installed already, you will need to push it through the side it connects on with a stick, but in most cases people already have it installed. I had to use needle-nose pliers and a lot of force. You need to jiggle it side to side because it's stuck in there after you remove the side screw. I'll see if I can take some photos and post them here.
AYYY OPERATOR
I've seen some dyno vids with aftermarket exhausts that actually has a slight HP increase with the baffle in. Those pipes like back pressure.
They do better with no db killer. 48hp vs 44-45(stock) about 46-47 with it in. Do a tune and you are 50+
@Pacific excursion maybe the brand matters? I saw a dyno video with a full yoshi exhaust and there was like a single hp gain with the baffle in compared dyno without
Thank you for the video ..
Is this just the slip on or full system?
Hey Craeftig! This is just the slip-on.
@@iamoperator oh ok, I have the full system setup, for a slip on that thing is loud lol can’t imagine the tone on mine.
I see you live in a neighborhood full of cry babies too. I can tell you’re afraid of them. I live in one of these neighborhoods too. Mine is incredibly politically corrupt. Like a lot of these similar neighborhoods are. Mine, will ruin your reputation. They will go any length to flex their political corruption. They fear nothing. They are fear mongers, they spread total fabricated lies, they use their political affiliations to oppress minorities and poorer people. Or people that don’t come from the same financial back grounds. They do this to keep people out that they don’t like. American land of the free.
i have a 2022 ninja 400, can i make the same mods you did? on the website it states for 2021, just asking before buying them
Hi Jean! Great question. 2018-2022 are all the same bike, and i believe the only change mentioned anywhere was clutch updates. So you should be good! There's also another video where I go over two new mods, sliders and levers. Both of those should also still be compatible.
Blow your nose!
why does this guy sound like her just committed murder lmao
What happen no new videos? I’m looking for an akrapovic exhaust.
Do you recommend the baffle in or out?
Hey Arley! I recommend the baffle in. There's considerable loss of back pressure without it, and there's not much difference in sound. Now, I will say that having it off with the loss of back pressure allows for a bit more control of the bike at low speeds. So if you're just starting off riding and want to get comfortable with the bike, you may want to remove it. Taking it off is pretty easy, but the screw can fall into the exhaust prompting you to take the whole thing off. Happened to me last time... :)
@@iamoperator how did u get the baffle out? Without drilling a hole on the side.
Hey@@Kingnabor! The carbon fiber version has the removable baffle. It's just a screw that's holding the baffle in place. The Titanium (Homologated) version does not have the opening to get to the screw and you have to drill the hole. I honestly prefer the look of the Titanium, but not being able to remove the baffle without drilling was a deal-breaker for me. Edit: I should note that the screw is there on the Titanium version as well, it's just not accessible, and I'm sure it was done so people can't remove it (regulations, etc.).
Why are you out of breath?
awesome mods! No frame sliders tho? I think that seems like a must.
Check out the Akra video. Sliders, and levers were added shortly after this one.
What is fuel mileage like with this exhaust? Considering buying it but I would like to know if it negatively affects mileage.
Great question. It would be hard for me to compare without running tests with both stock and the Akra, but there are a few factors to consider. Massive reduction in weight. Stock exhaust is heavy. So now you're lighter, and the Akra also provides a minor boost in performance, so you're also a bit faster. So i'd say you really don't lose much if any and may even come out on top. But the reduction in weight alone for me was significant reason enough to get the Akra, or even another after-market. That stock exhaust is an insult!
@@iamoperator thank you for your quick response! Much appreciated. I’ve also looked into the LV-10 but I think I prefer the Akra in every way
@@iamoperator made sure to sub!
@@Foxy-rj8yw I have the LV-10 as well, and the only downside with that exhaust is that it's a bit too loud. I was getting all that sound and pressure in my helmet and after 15-20 minutes it would get a bit more painful. It probably has to do with the position and angle of the LV-10, it doesn't stick out the back as much instead pointing the sound and pressure upwards towards the rider.
@@Foxy-rj8yw Thank you! And ride safe!
great sound, in argentina i can't get that slip on :(
Ur bike is beautiful man 😊
Thanks, Randy!
Any new mods ?
Hey Dope! There's another vid where I test out the exhaust and go over the new additions, but since that vid I've only done one other thing to it and that's change out the mirrors for the Ninja 300 mirrors which are not as long. I've been meaning to make another vid but i've moved to a new home, and work has been crazy.
How much was this muffler?
Hey Eostrow! I got it from Sportbiketrackgear.com and it was around $500 with tax.
How much was the muffler?
Hey Eastrow! I had to go back and look. At the time of the video which was around a month after purchase, I paid $434 from www.sportbiketrackgear.com. I see now it is much more expensive.
I have this same color scheme. I'm surprised you don't see it more... it's such a good color combo
The best color combo of the year!
*I uploaded a video showing same bike but removed all the green if you wanna see how it looks without it*
@@IDABAYAREA650I Dude that looks amazing! Question. The clear coat sticker on the tank. How did you remove it, or are you covering it up with the grip? I was planning on covering it with grip.
@@iamoperator *Thanks! Yeah i was very hesitant to remove the green i was thinking i might not like it and might look very bland and boring lol, But i Love it! And yeah just covered it with the grips lol*
Still liking the akra exhaust?
Hey Rob! I am! It hasn't let me down, still going strong! Weather is also getting nice now, so I'll hopefully be able to make a new video. Stay tuned!
@@iamoperator Awesome, thank you for the reply. I was fortunate enough to pick up a 2022 ABS on Monday. Loving it so far!!!
@@robscherer Awesome!!! Grats! What color did you get?
@@iamoperator Its called METALLIC CARBON GRAY/METALLIC FLAT SPARK BLACK
@@robscherer Yes! Call me old fashion, but I love neutral color combos! Beautiful!
This guy sounds like George Clooney
Heiha.. What are we listen to.. I thought I listen to professional bike review
Thanks this really helped me out !!! Wanted to see how that smoked windscreen looked on the bike and also the rear seat cowl !! Thanks again
You're welcome! If you have any other questions let me know!
I'm getting mine soon!
Congrats!!! Enjoy it in good health and drive safe!!!
You need some allergy medicine ? Or to much snortty snort ? 😆
I love that seat Which one is it I looked on the website from Kawasaki it has a dark gray one and a light gray one also found on Amazon a carbon fiber one thank you
Hey Laura! Are you talking about the seat itself, or the passenger seat cowl?
Exactly like mine in color got mine Feb 21
Felicidades, Antonio! Disfrutala! Apenas se vaya el frio, de nuevo a la calle!
Blow your nose! Wow. Terrible.
I hope you went with the Rockform mount. Lol
Rear seat cowl looks nice but still have passenger pegs on there??
I haven't found a bracket that can replace the peg holding the exhaust that isn't tacky looking.
@@iamoperator lol I see
Great bike. Thinking of getting my license and would love this for my first bike (used). I'm a 5 '5 guy though? Your thoughts? Or anyone's opinion that knows bikes would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Ryan! I would say the best thing you can do is head over to a dealership and just sit on it. I can flat foot easily at 5'10". I also believe you should be able to lower it as well.
@@iamoperator ok, that is definitely the best way to fine out. Thanks!!
I'd recommend it. As a new biker and owner myself it's super light, though definitely as fast as you'd need for street and highway riding (Assuming you're not immediately planning on taking it racing). Plus you'll appreciate it's light weight when you need to walk it around or back it out unpowered and you don't have to fight the bike. (Tried out 4 other bikes, and I managed to drop a 600 Yamaha 3 times when I rented it since it will just lean past anything you want it to do).
Operator I plan on saving and getting a bike I’m around 6 feet so I should be good right?
@@jiimmiij4428 You are golden! If you opt for the Ninja 400, your back will also thank you!
Awesome! I just bought me a brand new Kawasaki ninja 400 2021 in Melbourne.
Awesome! Enjoy it, and ride safe! Great bike all around!
How much did actually bought the bike?
Depends on dealer and time of year, i came out with $7,100 out the door, i uploaded mine if ya wanna check it out
I have the same bike with a Toce Razor Tip full exhaust. When the clutch breaks, which it will, replace it with Barnett plates and heavy duty clutch springs. And Motul 7100 oil.
Thanks, Artur! Yea, I was going to actually do this sooner rather than later. It's apparently inevitable with this bike. How many miles before you had to replace?
Sounds great! Everyone raves about the Lv10 exhaust but honestly it sounded waaay too loud for my tastes and got the Akrapovic instead.
Yea, the LV-10 was a little too loud for my taste as well. Akra is just right!
Question, the Akrapovic Carbon Slip-on isn't street legal right? Is it really an issue though, meaning, do people really get pulled over for it if you're not in california?
Hey Nammers! Great question. I would say, check your local laws. They definitely differ per state. I'm in GA, and police here do not care. I've driven beside, in front, and by them all the time. I also believe if anything the biggest issue would be emissions, but could definitely involve noise ordinances on a per state by state basis.
This guy sounds like Mel Gibson 😆
Never gotten Mel before. Lol.
My is coming soon by next week how I feel so excited it ;)
Grats, Wen!! Ride safe!
@@iamoperator Thank you and my friend are going take a motorcycle License to buy one too;)
Putz deine scheiß Nase man
Great mods you've done to your bike. Thanks for the inspiration. Have just purchased a new 400 in New Zealand. Is your Zero Grav Windscreen the SR or Corsa Series or?
Thanks, Chiro! I’m using the Corsa model. Side note: Hope to one day visit your great country!!
@@iamoperator Thanks for that! I'm going to get one. So appreciate you getting back to me and sharing your mods with all of us!. NZ has some absolutely endless winding roads and beautiful scenery. Hope to see you all down here some day!
@@chiromark Thank you! Yea, If I ever visit I know i'll probably end up staying :) Unfortunately NZ isn't looking for my specific trade, but my company does let me work anywhere in the world, and we do have offices in AUS. Maybe I'll need to convince them to let me move :)
Looking to buy my own soon, how’s it been treating you? Fellow Kiwi here too
Good move with USB charger!
Huge must for long rides!
Let us hear that exhaust
Hey Dalton! I let it rip in this one: ruclips.net/video/KpcY5beFbh8/видео.html
Unfortunately the motorbike doesn't have an immobilizer yet
Is it just me, or he sounds a little bit like George Clooney?
nice i can use your mods for my zx25r :D edit: is zx25r illegal in USA?
Kawasaki hasn't brought it over yet. Would be great if they do, but there's also very little market for small displacement bikes. Since one license gets you any displacement, people tend to start with 600+.
