Yes ,you could remove the tail treble or replace it with a barbless single . I try not to use trebles now , they spent more time in my fingers than the fish . Looks a good lure that what brand etc ?

Why do so many 'experts' claim it's impossible to catch wild lochan trout in a flat calm? It's just not true. However, I do get more success on a lighter setup that the one you're using.

Braw fish. I've decided I'm gonna try sticking to static dry on the hill lochs next season, only really just started it at the very back end of this season, but it's definitely worth it. Even when fish aren't rising, seem to do better on them.

Cracking wee loch , typical hill loch fish this year long n skinny not too many flys to eat this year i think.

Your channel is very good and deserves to be better known. I have fished Loch Horn several times back in the 90s and had some very decent fish, as I see did you. Evenings are best, especially after the sun has disappeared behind the hills, but the walk back down the hill in the dark can be tricky! Thanks for reviving good memories.

Brilliant video! Excellent showcase for loch Horn! I'm up on holiday in Dornoch this week, I'm fishing tonight and Thursday on the Kyle of Sutherland at Bonar Bridge for sea trout (hopefully!!) And I'm blown away by the angling opportunities locally, in stunning surroundings! As a utuber myself, I understand the effort that goes into editing these films. Well done! Subbed👍

Wish you would show the flies that you used. It does not need to be a secret as we all fish in different Ways. But it would be a help in what flies to bring when you travel 400 Hundred miles to try your luck.

£1400 to stay at the hotel for the week and catch lots of tiddlers. Most folk that stay aren't fit enough to climb into the hills and get to the best lochs. Go before the midges 👍
