38:00 sounds like an average Canadian farmer trying to transport stuff lol.
When’s that next video dropping I could use a video a day lmao congrats on the success of the channel grew super fast doesn’t come to me as a huge surprise sense you are putting out amazing content
I'm working on the edit for episode 7 right now... I'm hoping to have it out later today but no promises haha. Tomorrow at the latest though. And thank you! I can't believe how fast the channel has grown!
@@syrupgames also not sure if you know I think there’s a way to extend the log trailer might have the pull up that little control thing and I think there should be a way to do it
The SaMasz back mower is double the price of the KUHN mower because its got the merger in the back so what you mow in the back can be windrowed by the mower.
Holy shit you grew incredibly fast from your first video to now. Unsurprising considering this is actually good content compared to most youtuber creators.
I know! It's grown way faster than I ever expected 🤯 Thank you for the support!
I surely don't mind hip hop!
Great video! I am enjoying this series. A minor suggestion with loading up lettuce. Try parking your trailer across the road vs parallel to the road. Then you will only have to turn 90 degrees from picking up a pallet instead of having to do a full 180.
Great tip! I did figure that out on my own eventually but it definitely makes things easier!
Couldn't you have mowed the grass and picked it up at the same time, saving fuel? (Edit: You eventually got to doing that. I commented as you had just started mowing 😂😂)
Haha yeah I figured it out too late! Oh well, will definitely save me a little time and fuel on the next harvest!
I enjoyed the episode, and look forward to the series. Like most I enjoyed the time lapses, but I like a mixture of 1st person and 3rd person for the interesting scenic views. I understand your view on renting equipment to complete jobs, but it limits you to grind. All zero to hero/rags to riches are grinds. Keep 'em coming, I'll keep watching. Subbed.
Glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for the feedback and the sub!
Enjoying your content. My only gripe is the music being too loud. Other than that keep up the good work.
Great Vid my dude. Killing it...
Great letplay
Wonder how true the "wash your equipment or the repair bar drops faster" is? I like my equipment clean, yes, but i only play on hard difficulty and i dont have the money to spend on something that makes it look good.
Yeah I'm not sure how true that is either, the pressure washer was maybe not the smartest financial decision, but I definitely like having clean equipment lol
Great job on the mix of time lapse, super cuts and commentary. Keep it up 💪💪💪
Glad you're enjoying it! More coming soon!
Awesome video. I normally do a start from $0 and borrow for contracts but I think I like this better and will start a new save this way
Great series so far! ❤ I think you can keep the weight on back and connect trailer to it...
Oh I didn't think that was an option, I will definitely give that a try, thanks for the tip!
Another great video man, definitely excited to keep seeing the progression of the playthrough and your channel.
Appreciate the support, more videos coming soon!
The fact that this is the best fs25 series on youtube and you only have 1.5k subs....
Wow that is high praise, thank you! But considering my first upload was 2 weeks ago, I'm pretty ecstatic about 1.5K subs already!
Green houses are the way to go can place around 3-4 of them on your land set it to automatically sell rather than wasting time transporting use a free water source and you get easy passive income
Doesn't that take a large cut though when you sell automatically? I will probably do that eventually when I have more going on, but for now I think it makes more sense to transport them myself for the higher payout
A rags to riches playthrough that doesn’t immediately cheat with boosted contracts, higher sell prices, as well as a bunch of cheesy P2W machines? Sign me up for more!
Glad you're enjoying it! It's definitely the most challenging playthrough I've ever done in Farming Simulator, and it's definitely a grind, but it makes every little advancement that much rewarding. I've never felt so accomplished just buying a pressure washer and fuel tank before lol
If you hook up the trailer behind your tractor while you're mowing you'll cut and pick up at the same time. (I commented to soon!!! 🤣🤣)
Is the Canadian tuxedo a choice because you dress like that in reality?
Lol! I can neither confirm nor deny...
Hey man, is it possible to move your greenhouses or do you have to sell them?
Once they are placed you can only sell them, and you won't get back what you paid. There is a mod though that gives you a one month grace period, so if you buy a building and decide you don't like the placement, you can sell it in that first month for no loss
Can use the ramp on the tipper trailer you have, the ramps width adjust so you can just push the pressure washer into the trailer and haul it. Like even with the one from the construction menu works like that too.
Oh yeah I didn't even think of using those ramps, thanks for the tip!
I'd keep the time lapses in!!! The only thing is you don't have to tell us when you're doing a time lapse 😂😅 if you're doing something repetitive that takes a long time or you know you're going from A to B like 20 times then a cut is okay. I like the updates amd talking us through how you're going to do something. Keep it up man!!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you're enjoying it!
still loving the LP!
I haven’t scanned the comments by my experience is that the damage displayed is always the damage of the item that needs most repair. So if you have a front loader, tractor, log fork and log trailer and the trailer is the most worn out at say 53% then that is what the meter shows no matter what the other items are.
Oh ok, that's very helpful, thanks for the tip!
Great videos man
The small square baler can be used on square bale contracts :)
Judging by the last two stanchions, that logging trailer can e extended. Check your top left menu.
I did figure that out during my last recording, that extra length definitely makes loading a little easier!
You actually have a stream on your property. streams, rivers , lakes and the sea give you free water. You can de-limb the trees as in previous versions of FS. set the chainsaw to vertical and keep just left of the main trunk. It is slightly more exact in this version. Length and straightness is everything. The longer and straighter the de-limbed logs the more they;re worth. Load the Lunberjack mod there is a measuring thing on it that appears in your top left menu.
Thanks for the advice! Are you sure about the stream though? I looked around and couldn't find anything... There is a ditch that runs through it but it never has enough water to fill from. I did figure out the delimbing eventually, you're right that you need to be more precise in this version. And did try bringing in longer logs from the deadwood contacts and it did help but not that much. I think getting my own sawmill is the way to go for making use of deadwood
Thinking about it later I came to the same conclusion as you as all I could see were puddles. lol
Buy the windmill now. Its more expensive now but it gives you free water. Do Not buy the storage tank with it it will change you for water usage.
I do want to buy that windmill soon! That $10K price tag is tough to stomach right now though lol
Maybe you should consider a small tender to make hay to pick up with wagon and sell.
I have been considering it, but I think I'm going to skip hay and go straight to silage to increase the value of my grass
Change the output method on your greenhouse to selling - you wont need to load pallets and drive to store each time. Sells automatically.
Don't do this unless you want to take a 20% to a 40% hit on the sale of your goods.
I know that's an option but doesn't it take a large cut of your profits if you sell automatically?
@syrupgames it's up to you but if you want to maximize your profits take it yourself. You have the trailer, it's up to you.
@@syrupgames So from some of the responses it seems it does, didnt realise that. So starting out best option is to take it yourself to max profits. Later on with more farms/productions dont think you'll have the time to take all the pallets yourself.... its tedious
At what point will you consider yourself rich?
That's a good question... I hadn't thought that far ahead lol. All I know is I'm definitely not rich yet lol
Wouldn't be easier to load the lettuce pallets transversally? 😊
Quite possibly! Hasn't been a big deal yet but as I sell larger loads I might have to try to stack them more efficiently
i like you cutting out majority of field work i just like to know what you done :)
Thanks for the feedback!
Rags to bitches
Hi nice stream regarding the water being free the last update the water tower looks like windmill is now free water hope I've helped you in some ways thanks again for your stream and keeping it real 😊
Great vid mate
Get the real sawmill mod and get a sawmill, then put the wood from your deadwood contracts in that before you close the contract.
I am hoping to get the sawmill soon!
Great videos
Thanks!
Great episode. I don't think you have enough space, but last patch they fix the windmill and now you can use them like an infinite free source of water, it will save you a lot of trips to the pond. About the mower attachment that was on sale a couple of episodes before, the price difference is because you don't need a windrower to use it, it has some belts to leave the grass pilled up in rows.
Yeah I am considering that windmill, would definitely save some time, but space and funds are making me hesitate
And yeah fill the whole land left with green houses. Seeing loading pallets is less boring than seeing cultivation contracts
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully I will be out of the contact grind pretty soon
Wish you would have leveled the land on the ditch to turn the houses 90. Now the ditch is cleared the space should be utilized :)
So yeah, when I started watching this I thought that it will be awesome but now that I think about the progression speed, it is kinda slow. Especially, due to the fact that these maps were not supposed to be played like this. I think you should turn the economy to easy for now till you gey some basic stuff going like basic equipment to do most of the things.
Economy has been on easy since episode 2 lol
The progression has been slower than I anticipated, but it is supposed to be a challenge after all....
@@syrupgames lol forgot that. Thanks for correcting me
About free water: the placeable water tank with the windmill thingamajig produces free water now. Before the recent patch it was 1500 to buy it and then you also had to pay for the water, but now it's 10k to buy and the water is free. It does seem to fill your tanker a good chunk slower than a river/lake/rice paddy though.
Come on mate- do more contracts instead of skipping time 😮
Yeah I don't want to skip time too much, but I wanted to get to a point where there was a better variety of contracts and to where I can start making money off my own land again. There will be plenty more contracts to come though haha
@syrupgames your videos is about the grind ... actually in real life .. its more profitable to do contracts .. maybe just make a serious when u are better at them with better equipment.. or mods to use the trees or grass u cut better etc
great Vid my dude as always. Can i suggest to invest in a small saw mill turn the wood into planks and boards might be more profitable
I am definitely considering the sawmill!
@@syrupgames then you can cart all the deadwood back and turn free wood into little bit more money then raw wood. either way you do you. Killing it love watching the growth of your channel since your first Vid
Been waiting for this ❤ - get some mods that make sense but no cheating ❤
what could be interesting since you got 3 green houses u could get one more and look at making kimchi instead of straight lettuce
I will consider that, thanks for the tip!
