I haven't watched this video 3 seconds and I've already given it a thumbs up! I flat out refuse to watch the sequels. With the exception of Rogue One, none of the Disney Star Wars movies have any purpose. Star Wars canonically ended with Return of the Jedi PERIOD! Furthermore, after learning about the history of Germany in the '20s and '30s, I have really come to appreciate the prequels!

One of my favorite nick names Sokka ever gave to one of their enemies is that guy with a third eye that attacks them with a laser beam when they're chilling at a water fall. In German Sokka calls him "spritz spritz bang boom man" 😂

BB-8 had a terrible design. They basically just stuck R2-D2's head onto a ball. BD-1 from Jedi Fallen Order had a infintely more creative design when compared.

Even Rey's theme isn't all the memborable. And it still fails to hold a candle to nearly 99% of the music Williams compossed for the first two trilgoies. I think I remember more of the music from the Clone Wars animated series than I do for anything from the Sequel movies.

The biggest issue with the Prequels is in their overall execution. Their overall premise from Anakin's rise and fall, the transformation of the Republic into the evil Empire, Palpatine's rise to power, and the Jedi's fall make for the foundation of a great story. It's just how it all ended up playing out was the biggest gripe. But George regardless knew what story he wanted to tell with the trilogy. While the Sequels seemed much more interesting in rehashing the same story we already saw told 40 plus years ago, while shitting on everything about it and the characters people loved just in the vain hope of prompting up their own insufferable characters nobody likes or wants.

At least the Prequels were trying to build something. To portray what was before, even if weren't very successful in execution. The Sequels were pure copypaste cash grabs abusing people's nostalgia.

Honestly it’s really not a big enough deal to go and make a RUclips video about it to complain. Could it have been a bit better? Sure. I don’t know why you would continually push the original SMRPG to the back of the line considering it makes the most sense to play it first AND it was released first. And you’re not going to be spending six months to beat a 15-20 hour game.

Don't worry super mario RPG is about 15-17 hours and paper mario TTYD is about 30 hours. These games aren't as long as most RPGs, there's plenty of time to play those two games while we wait for M&L brothership

You can buy them now and play them as you have the time. The switch is most likely going to be retired soon when Super Smash Brothers Ultimate came out Nintendo said the switch was about half way done. Its been a few years since the release of ssbu so it makes sense that they are pumping so much games out at once.

I finished TTYD and Mario RPG 100% on my channel. But with me going to college soon, I wont be able to check out Brothership right away, which I'm bummed about cuz M&L is my favorite Mario series.

You think it’s hard keeping up with Mario RPGs, try keeping up with nearly every major Nintendo release. Luigi’s Mansion 2 is sitting on my shelf untouched, and I wanna beat that before Echoes of Wisdom, and I wanna beat that before M&L Brothership…

Don't worry about the duration of the games, they're a lot shorter than your average RPG and they're good enough to not bore you, so I don't think is as troublesome as you think. (Also no one is forcing you to play them immediately, you can wait as much time as you want to do so)

Honestly i work 5 10-12 hour shifts a week with 2 days off every week too. I have a gf and my breaks are 1 hour a piece. I bloody love mario RPGS, i just finished TTYD and im halfway through super mario rpg but i dont want to continue more because i like to sit down for multiple hours to finish a game as it feels really complete then but i cant because I'm damm too busy. Ooh you were spot-on about the music. I thought I was the only one who was underwhelmed by the scores of the sequels. John Williams is undoubtedly the best movie composer to ever live (he has some close seconds, of course, but no one is the epic mastermind that he is). But when I think of the sequels, there's no sweeping suite or cue that comes to mind the way I think of "Duel of the Fates" and "Battle of the Heroes", among others, when I think of the prequels.

The easiest Nintendo movie to make would be Punch Out. Because... It's basically just Rocky, but with a short dude that nobody takes seriously. And then give Mike Tyson a cameo because why not? Edit: I think adapting specific games should not be a thing that happens. Just do entirely new stories. Except for Luigi's Mansion. That's fine.

My thoughts, a year later. Personally, the first four of five points just amount to "Which movies make better toys". If you like the designs of the prequels and hate the designs of the sequels, im not gonna tell you you're wrong. But like...none of that really matters. Both have their own look and feel (and neither really look like the original trilogy, so......) and I don't think it's worth condemning one or the other just because the enemy flagships are a little uninspired. Both had new alien races, and I can't agree that the presence or absence of a twi'lek makes either series good or bad. So basically just the politics then. Which, admittedly, it is kind of whiplash that all of a sudden we have an Empire again. Though I hardly consider the prequel trilogy's politics easy to follow. Who the heck is the Trade Federation? I get they're being manipulated by Palpatine, but ..... why? What do they gain? Why listen to some shcmuck in a robe that is telling you to kill magic knights than can solo your entire army (and were invited as arbiters in a diplomatic dispute). Why does Anakins entire arc hinge on the political faux pas of a senator falling in love with a Jedi (I know the Jedi discourage love .... for some reason .... but why would the senate? Are there logical assumptions? Yeah, sure, probably. But nothing in the text of the film). I have no argument that the sequels politics are clunky, even bad. But apples to apples, The Sequels' politics are simplistic and black and white. There are clear bad guys, that know they're bad guys. The Prequels politics are just....nonsense. It's just law-speak and mumbo jumbo where people give inadequate explanations for their actions and just don't act rationally. And other than Tatooine, I don't rememer much "culture" from the four places in the galaxy worth looking at, other than maybe Tatooine and "briefly" Naboo. In terms of direction, I won't sing the sequels praises, but the prequels are just utter garbage. The story boarding makes no sense. Characters are flat and bland with little to no character development. 75%+ of scenes involve two characters either walking while talking, or sitting while talking in shot/reverse-shot, involve characters who are supposed to be the wisest in the galaxy making incredibly stupid decisions ("Master Yoda thinks raising a child this old is a bad idea. But okay, sure, permission granted." "Anakin has been training here for several years now and he's very clearly angry, defiant and has hotheaded. Perhaps Master Yoda's opinion was worth listening to. Eh, w/e you can keep training him, it's fine...im sure"). As the movies go on, The Trade Federation and even Dooku's motivations are .... incredibly unclear. (The third movie STARTS with attacking Grievous, a Sith who was never mentioned before. Why are there so many Sith allied with the Trade Federation again. Is nobody going to investigate this?) I can keep going. Personally, I hold no love for the sequels. But the prequels I hold nothing but contempt for. They're all among the worst movies I've ever seen. The Sequels are bad, very bad even, but to me a lot more watchable.

Wars have to have a start. Politics usually starts wars. You don't just start fighting for no reason. The prequels fleshed out how we got to the original trilogy
