Orange weapons are the rarest weapons in the game but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are the best in their respective categories; in my opinion, there are numerous (perfect) purple rare tag weapons that tend to be more functional and user friendly. Standard or more common weapons (red name) are weaker by design but are 100% usable in most applications. 👍

Thank you very much friend for the information, I've seen red and purple, but this is the first time I've heard about orange. So it must be very rare, the rarest of the rare.

@@Letin35744 Correct, there are a total of 6 orange weapons: Slaughter (Handgun), Grim Reaper (Magnum), High Roller II (Machine Gun), Cerberus (Shotgun), Lindwurm (shotgun) and Zeroth (Rifle). These weapons were added to the 2017 version of Resident Evil Revelations (along with other things) and are extremely rare.

Likewise, it’s good to see players still interested in Resident Evil Revelations! 👍 The Thunder Raptor is a very difficult weapon to obtain; however, you’re extremely fortunate to have the Serpent! In my opinion, it’s the most significant weapon in raid mode; a true game changer! 👍

@@KRYS9984 It really is the greatest weapon in the game and I got it within my first 50 hours of GSC but at the cost of having zero luck with magnums ever since😂

@@mixnflix101 You’re extremely fortunate to drop a perfect Serpent within the first 50 hours as it can be a difficult weapon for a lot of players. On a positive note, you have (IMO) the best magnum in raid mode; keep farming consistently with a good number of rare finders and perhaps you’ll come across the remaining two. Best of luck! 🍀👍

The 4 custom part cases are located in the solarium, upper cabins, promenade and laboratory. Most of these custom parts can be obtained throughout the Trench and Abyss stages, however, if you truly want to farm standard custom part cases, I would suggest opting for the solarium and upper cabin cases since they don’t stray from the 8 - 9 case farming route. Solarium case: Follow the route seen at 8:47; defeating all enemies in the opposite side of the pool will spawn the small draghignazzo next to the diving board ladder. Pick up the weapon case and throw a couple of standard grenades over the barrier to defeat the draghignazzo and obtain the parts case. Upper Cabins case: When going through the cafeteria at 10:28; head up the stairs to the left instead of going straight, this will take you to the upper cabins. You obtain the case by defeating the small wall blister in room 302 (same room as Windham Shotgun in campaign). Progress through the upper cabins and take the elevator to the bridge.

Absolutely! There are different theories on how the weapon RNG works and I do believe that your drops are determined at the result screen and not pre-determined / designated to specific cases (when the run begins). Ultimately, it all comes down to luck! 🍀👍

@ReSiDeNt_Evil_Gamer Those are extremely rare weapons and it’s common to be missing them late in the collection (particularly the Slaughter, Grim Reaper and Zeroth). As you already know, the RNG is brutal so it’s important to be patient while farming consistently; the rest is up to luck. 🍀👍

An untagged blue / blue PSG1 (or pre-tagged blue / red variant) is a fairly common drop and you should be able to come across one with regular farming. The purple Prowler is a little more complicated because it’s one of the sought after rare tag weapons; it will require time, patience and luck. 👍

It’s not trivial at all, just different when compared to its predecessor. The addition of Ghost Ship Chaos and blue box weapons substantially increased the amount of possible weapon combinations when compared to the standard Ghost Ship; this broadens the weapon pool and lowers your chances of dropping perfect rare tag weapons even further. The 2017 version does offer players better weapons, custom parts and more cases per weapon run (on Ghost Ship Chaos) but that doesn’t make things easier, it’s just a different experience. Ultimately, the RNG is brutal and one should expect to put in hundred / thousands of hours farming to achieve their desired goal(s) and even then, it might not come to fruition.

@@KRYS9984 There are no items to boost rare weapon drop chance on PS3 and the only way to do any farming worth doing is to go all the way to Ghost Norman and beat him, all for a level 47 M92F with 1 slot.

@@deathtoraiden2080 Yes, I’m aware and as previously mentioned, both games offer a different experience given the content in their respective raid mode. I feel that the 2013 raid mode was created in a specific way to incentivize players to interact with ResidentEvil.net. Creating / synching their accounts and taking part in weekly challenges offers rewards such as custom part cases, weapon cases, special rewards (custom parts / rare weapons) and RE Points which can be used to purchase various items. Players could essentially amass an arsenal and not rely entirely on in-game farming. There are some challenges and rewards specifically for the 2017 version but for the most part, you’re accumulating custom parts and weapons within the game.

@@KRYS9984 A friend joined me in my session and I spent two or three rounds farming weapon cases, the first a snake, the second the grim reaper and in several rounds the thunder raptor. I have about a thousand hours or so on and I haven't had any named magnums, I have the blue label python and pale rider, but none with a rare name. Only pistols, shotgun and sniper. Today I have done about 40 rounds, about 3 to 4 hours continuously and no rarities. The rng of this game is relentless.

@@steel7607 The RNG is definitely brutal. 😞 Unfortunately, there is no trick or secret to obtaining perfect rare tag weapons; you just have to play and hope for the best. 🙏

This game is definitely challenging and requires practice and repetition to overcome certain stages. With that said, a lot of areas are “scripted” and can be dealt with in the same manner every time; you just need good strategies and memorization of enemy locations / spawns. 👍

Absolutely, this has been known for years! Players may have a different method of initiating the glitch; however, I find this to be the most consistent. Without it, the Ghost Ship / Ghost Ship Chaos trinity bonus (co-op carry) would be much more complicated. 👍

Even though the video is a few years old, I’m still active on this channel and glad to answer your question(s). The difference between both ships is the weapons; you can only obtain Lv.50 blue box weapons on Ghost Ship Chaos which are superior to their green box variants. This includes standard, legendary and most importantly, rare tag weapons which are highly sought after (as seen in my other videos). 👍

@@KRYS9984 thank you so much for the reply i have been grinding and recently got guns im happy with thanks to your videos, i have another question i saw you using the windham and m3 shotguns in differant videos and was wondering if one was better to go for or if it was personal preference

@@aerico34 I’m glad the video helped! I sometimes use standard weapons (in my videos / tutorials) because they are easier to obtain making the demonstrations much more accessible to players. This shows that it’s not necessary to have the absolute best gear to attain a specific goal in Revelations. Regarding the shotguns, it’s just personal preference. The Windham “Short Range” is probably my second favorite shotgun in the game; the additional +14% short range power essentially makes it a mini Sledgehammer with +40% dazing. The M3 is not very powerful but extremely user friendly due to its low recoil; once again, using the “Short Range” tag will enhance its short range power and dazing. 👍

on pc there are plenty of features (7 slot weapons, bsaa2, ghost ship: chaos) that dont exist

@@ragerunner436 You’re correct. Unfortunately, Resident Evil Revelations on PC is based off the 2013 release and missing many things found in the 2017 version (Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch).

Gotta keep the accuracy high (to maximize results) and its “cheeks” are the largest target. 😂👍

There’s definitely no trick or secret to dropping weapons as it all comes down to luck; I use the same weapon set-up equipped with 9 rare finders (99% of the time) and simply rotate my characters. However, consistent farming is important; you have to be dedicated to the grind and complete a good amount of (consecutive) runs per session. 👍

Thank you very much; I’ve definitely been very fortunate in revelations! As you know, there’s no trick or secrets to drops; I simply use 9 rare finders with the same weapon set-up a majority of the time, the rest is up to luck / RNG. 🍀👍

I got my first purple Serpent at roughly 180 hours; however, everyone’s Revelations experience will vary. Some people can drop this particular weapon at under 100 hours and others at over 1000 hours; it all comes down to luck. 🍀👍

The Dictator turned out to be one of my more common drops and definitely the best pistol in the game. 👍Regarding the magnums, my choice is always the purple Serpent because it’s extremely powerful, can be used with ease by the entire roster and has enough slots to run a full set of rare finders. The Thunder Raptor is also an excellent magnum but weaker and only has 5 slots. You can always put a fire rate 4 on a Serpent and ultimately still have the same amount of slots as a Raptor (but more powerful). 👍

Revelations is probably my most played Resident Evil game, particularly because of Raid Mode. However it’s not my favorite in the franchise; that title goes to Resident Evil 1 Remake / HD Remaster. 👍
