He created four sculptures which are available for the public to interact with. I'll take you thru each and explain a bit about what they are. Come along for a ride and then go to the Presideo and see for yourself.

Coit Tower of San Francisco. Wow, I never knew...
Просмотров 797Год назад
San Francisco's Coit Tower is an integral Part of San Francisco's culture since 1933. The tower is fabulous, but it is no match for the 27 murals inside. These were painted by the top muralists of the 1930s, and represent the lifestyle of people of the depression era. You can view the murals for free and enjoy the grounds. It is a nominal fee of $10 to walk the stairway to the observation deck....

Have you seen the Waymo's honking at each other in their parking lot, pretty funny.
I've missed that so far, but I have heard of it. They are forming a new rock band!
Hello! I’m in 1750 Lombard street, could you recommend where can l take the cable car , thanks
I believe the top of the hill is Hyde. No matter, you can catch a cable car at the top of the crooked street.
New HQ for my company Help4Access in 2025🎉
You should try to get them to let you go to the observation deck.
One of my favorite videos of San Francisco
Thank you. That comment sure made my day!
Great video. I live in the East Bay and have been to Coit Tower five times but surely enjoyed this video.
What a nice comment to see first thing in the morning. Big time thanks!
Im from Manaus, capital of Amazonas and i really like to see my amazing Amazon from your perspective. 😊
That is great to hear. Thanks! I loved my trip to the Amazon! I learned a lot
Smooth voice my friend
Beautiful place and well narrated my friend.
Thank you for your kind words, Sir!
I grew up in the Castro, went to school at Most Holy Redeemer from K-3rd, played at Wheels Valley Playground, lived on Diamond St. from 1978-2021, my mom and dad lived on 17th & Market where there is a corner mom and pop store! I'm an old gal from back in the day when families were there! I now live in the tenderloin and work as a security guard in the City! Walgreens, Castro theater, Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy (my nieces and nephews went there)!
Very nice.. and informative
Thank You! Don't you wish you could afford to shop there?
@@SFTourGuide sure do!lol
The architectural marvel that is San Francisco's City Hall has a rich history behind its construction, showcasing impressive design and craftsmanship. Have a great day♥TFS
Thanks for the comment. I hope we get a chance to work together sometime in the future.
I am a SF resident, new non techy transplant. Your videos ROCK. Thank you.
You always seem to showcase our beautiful city in a good light!
Stunning views. This bridge looks a lot like the iconic Tyne Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. Greetings from Poland!!
Glad you stopped by to take a look!
This...i love my SF
thank you sir, out standing showing of the San Francisco. If you get the time and information would you share what you could find out about treasure Island helping out homeless Veterans getting housing there?
If you want to do a video about Treasure Island, let me know and we can go out and shoot according to what you know about it.
I live here and always forget how much the city has. Lovely video.
Thank You!!! Such a nice way to start my day!
Been there. Cool spot.
Haven’t been to city hall in 30 years! Definitely want to go back and appreciate it! Thanks for the video, great job.
Glad to give you a reason to come here. You can spend a day exploring the City Hall and then have one of the best hot dogs in town right outside.
Well done Holden, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent.
Thank you for the compliment!
Well done buddy.
Thanks fella. Miss going our to fly. Hope to see you soon!
Love all these great facts about our beautiful city!
THanks, you have made my day! @@magdaherbert

:(:(:(:(
Haven't been to the Castro since the mid 90's. I think most major cities have a gay district now.
Perhaps it is time to go again!
Good one Holden!
Been there...fantastic views 😊
Thank You!! I hope you've subscribed!
It's definitely not the only cable car system in the world. The relatively new BART line that connects the Oakland Airport to Coliseum station is also a cable car, for example. Or if you're looking for something more akin to Muni's cable cars there's a small, historic cable car system in Wales, UK.
It's the only *manual* true cable car system (as opposed to a funicular or the like).
I think he means this particular original type of manually operated cable car that was invented in San Francisco and then rapidly spread all over the world. The modern cable cars like the BART beige line are usually derived from automated ski lifts. Definitely still a type of cable car, but also extremely different types of systems.
This is a great vid on Castro. I like it when you showed us not only the area but also brought us into the bars and stores and interviewed the owners.
Thank You for the nice comment. I hope you subscribed.
And step in shit, and piss and worse than that is the stink of unwashed more locks living on the street
Hey, this is the best one yet, Holden. Great shots with the drone. Way to pick the light! Also great music and script. And the murals are just great, as a tribute to the City, and to its artists!
Inspiring video, next time I visit SF I am going to pay the 10 dollars and climb the tower!
Let me know when you are here and I will show you around.
@@SFTourGuide thanks, that would be fun.
P r o m o s m 🤷
I might be a little slow, but I don't understand what you mean.
This is brilliant. There is never a dull moment on this channel.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm stunned. What a grea way to start my day. Thank you from the deepest parts of my soul.
Great video buddy. I think I was there for that opening shot. If I had known about the murals, I would have gone inside. Those are really cool.
Yes, you and I were side by side when I shot that opening scene. As far as the murals are concerned, you would have to wait until it opens at 10:00. But you can always take your wife on a fine Sunday for a ppicnic on the grounds. If you are ready for another day of shooting in the city, just let me know.
It's a very beautiful country. Maybe I'll visit San Francisko. thanks to you, I traveled before I came. Thank you very much 💕💕
Yes, it is beautiful here. Keep in touch with the channel to see a lot of San Francisco.
You always show my city in its best light!
That is just my POV. Glad you enjoyed it.
Good one Holden.
Thanks! Glad you were able to watch it
Great camera moves and narrative Holden!
Well, you have set the bar pretty high. When things settle down for you, we should go out shooting video! Thanks for the comment.
Amazon region has many rivers; one of them is "the Amazon River", thus "rio negro" or "black river " is not the amazon river, but AN amazon river. 😚😚
You are absolutely correct. Thanks for making that point
@@SFTourGuide you are welcome! Great job. Greetings and a hug from Brazil.
@@iamthaysdasilva Ahhhhh, Brazil, home to the most beautiful people in the world!
@@SFTourGuide oh, how lovely. You are beautiful too. A big hug and I wish you the best.
Formerly known as 'Eureka Valley', the neighborhood was upper working class Irish Catholic and home to some of the 60s rock and roll renaissance players like , Janis Joplin and Carlos Santana. It was dangerous for gays to go cruising at night there as teenage gangs were on the prowl for homophobic violence which the police often refused to investigate, likely because they, themselves, indulged in the same crimes when they were teens. It was a pleasant neighborhood, white, hip and unpretentious and the transformation occurred when all the bars were bought by gays. It was the first replacement of a population that was not ethnic or racial.
Thanks for your piece of history. Always appreciated!
So interesting as always!!
Thank You for the compliment!
So sorry to see these videos end. Ready to go back!
Great job Holden! Love the sunset at the end.
Thanks for the videos. I am inspired to go there one day and see it for myself.
Excellent job! I enjoyed reliving the trip, thank you!!
Uh... That was some cluelessly bizarre background music during museum segment.
If you have ever been there, you'd have seen that the energy of the museum is close to the energy of that song. I hope that did not ruin the whole video for you.
I had to turn it off. Not sure why metal made sense for a video about historical cable cars.
Amazing place. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the comment
Another great video! Thank you for sharing. What a mysterious and magical place.
Yes it is a mysterious place. Thanks for the comment.
Where does the Japanese get gas for his generator?
There are boats with supplies all up and down the river. A short boat ride and he'd be there.
An Amazon ghost town, fabulous!
There was a lot more jungle than there was a ghost town. Nature doing its thing!
