Carl grew into his God given talent! Once he left the group then returned, he began to really kill it! He me how to purr like a kitten or growl like a lion! RIP
I hate this fucking song.. it could have been so much better.. I feel likes it's going 100 miles an hour.. Slow it the fuck down, and bring down the key.. You're screeching out the lyrics
I recently read a comment where the writer was surprised that Carl showed emotion in one song. That person either watched the wrong way or didn't know the Beach Boys. Carl showed emotion whenever he was acting, singing or having his brothers by his side.
Always loved the song and Carl's voice. Someone slipped some high octane into their backstage coffee. That version is almost twice as fast as the studio version, which I prefer because it actually grooves. But that's me. Still, great energy.
Damn!!! Carl!!!
Tops anything on the overrated (but very fine) Pet Sounds.

The Beatles, The Stones, and The Beach Boys…in that order….then all the rest.
Bless Carl and Dennis…they brought joy to so many and still do……easy journey.
Is it just me, but they seem to be pushing the melody a bit?
this is my favorite period of the beach boys
Carl had a great voice, but the 2 pack a day habit caught up with him. That is so sad.
Love the song. Not crazy about the faster tempo though.
My favorite Beach Boys song! ❤️
Carl.....I miss you!
This song just might be the best pop song of the seventies. .
Oh sheldon😂😂😂
Carl and Dennis soared on this version. Great performance!!

Wow, Carl. You were absolutely amazing! And forever you will be.
why does the video begin with one concert and abruptly switch to a different concert for the duration?
Still a sound nonpareil after so many decades. Man, Carl can sing! Long live an American original, The Beach Boys!
Another year - and I fall in love all over again. ☮️💟✝️🇺🇸
Unbelievably beautiful song but too fast a tempo live.
Unmistakably Carl!!
The Beach Boys will always be America's band. No band represented America more than them.

25 years ago today the world lost Carl, but he will never be forgotten!
Awesome, a little fast from the original.

Wow look at bald Mike Love with that hat.
Carl had great range.
Carl is still pure gold. This became my Anthem and I too fell in love with him. I melt at every viewing of this song!
Carl sounds good here, heartfelt at 1:05
