This concert was amazing and I'll tell you I was amazed and how Good Men at Work was they had that place just happened. The Stray Cats really brought it around too. I've got a lot of good pictures Aladdin with girls Flash and mirror topless because I had it done paint on my chest show me your tits I still have the program from the show too. This will blow your mind I have a brother 5 years older he was in the Army when this was happening I hadn't seen him in years. About 2 years ago he and I were talking I mentioned being at the show turns out he was there too I didn't even know he was in that state at a time. Too bad we didn't run into each other. If you were there remember the pipes for the sprinkler heads in the top they were a lifesaver

I really can't imagine anyone coming up with the bass line for Baba Óreilly' other than Entwhistle.. it's what makes the melody in the song. I bought his solo album, and was captivated b the spirit of the thing. John was really a one off... I miss him a bit.

I know no one really cares but just in case. I was in the Navy out of San Diego and really into New Wave Rock at that time (I still am). I couldn't find a ride to there but eventually got this gearhead dude to drive me to the concert. I'm pretty sure it was the second year because I watched the English Beat and was looking forward to a big act later (THE CLASH!). The gearhead driver dude says, I'm leaving, during the day time. LOL. I didn't want to stay around to hitchhike 2 hours drive back (no Uber and I'm broke anyway). Memories. BTW, that concert sucked for me, lol.

I saw the Who play live in England many times and they were superb! Such great performers, keef was electrifying, such a personality and great energy! The Ox seemed tokeep it all together along with Pete Townsend and Daltreysvoice ! Simply amazing !

The Who had a drummer & bass player who are impossible to copy, a rhythm section like no other. Add to that a top rock songwriter / guitarist and incredible lead singer. No one could come close to the magic going on within The Who
