I love palusami however In watching this video I did not see when they added the corned beef. They opened the can and set it aside. They spooned in only the onions that were mixed with coconut cream. But no corned beef.😢

Great job on the video. This is one of my favorite meals. I especially love the palusami when it's cooked in the umu (underground) The hard part about this meal is finding the taro leaves. I can usually find it in the big international markets along with taro. Just find a Polynesian in your area and ask where they buy the taro leaves. Thank you for the video.

Taking the skin and bone out of the salmon is like buying vitamins opening the bottle and throwing away the vitamins. The purpose of eating is not because you are just hungy, and that is what you like, but to feed the body nutrients. Some traditions needs to be broken. Stop throwing away calcium and vitamin D. Other than that good job.

Thank you for your great video. I don't like salmon croquettes. Never have-but will cook for Mom, tomorrow, since she's been asking for them. Instead, I usually mix a small can of salmon with an egg, then fry, and layer a big spoon of grits & butter, and we eat with homemade biscuits.

Samoan people has high intakes of salt as I noticed little bit too much salt here as the palagi mentioned it. Loved the mother's graceful patience and good ingredients here. Well done! I'm hungry for some.

Thanks guys! I've watched about a dozen different recipes for Salmon Croquettes this morning and this one with the biscuits and syrup is right up there on top of the ones I really liked! At first you had all ingredients listed--didn't show every single step that cooks use-(that just comes natural) Biscuits with syrup was a new one for me-never tried that-but did try them today and found I really liked them!!

Peep the hand motion when he is explaining "sop" it up. The same hand motion as when eating foo-foo or that Ethiopian sponge bread or sticky rice. Africa runs through her children even when they are unaware from where quirks stem.
