If they'd just had the sense to end this series with the shot of Ted & Tracy meeting, everybody would remember HIMYM fondly.

They ruined this show when they had Barney and robin keep breaking up lol. Especially after Ted gets married and that’s when robin and Barney break up it’s like robin broke up with Barney just cause Ted got married and she wanted Ted now like calm down why did they make robin a home wrecking whore? Lol

Should’ve been 4-5 seasons. Way less hookups for Ted to drive the need with a golden heart personality.

Elle l'a toujours su. Ça m'a toujours énervé dans cette série le fait que Robin fasse semblant de pas voir l'amour quasi inconditionnel que Ted lui portait alors qu'elle s'immiçait dans sa bande de pote. Elle a juste profitait de son amour pour avoir une bande de pote cool, tout en sachant qu'elle serai mise sur un pied d'estale par Ted sans toutefois avoir à s'inverser sentimentalement avec lui. Et ted trop amoureux pour lui dire de sortir de sa vie. Dans la vraie vie il serait certainement passé à côté de la mère de ses enfants. J'ai apprécié par contre quand Marshall prend les choses en main et demande à Robin de partir de l'appartement qu'elle partage en coloc avec Ted car ce dernier toujours amoureux ne peut pas aller de l'avant.

What I do like about this episode is that we get to see all of the previous characters futures, even the ones that we’ve only seen in like one episode.

Zoey being #2 for worst is too high imo. Toxic relationship for sure, but she was waaaaaaay better than Karen, who repeatedly cheated on Ted and treated him and his friends like crap. She genuinely loved Ted and was actual friends with members of the gang.

It always kills me how brilliantly they handled finally revealing the mythical Mother with the introduction of Tracy. We got one full episode of Tracy, in which we learned who she was and that she was amazing, and then several scenes scattered throughout the season that just made us more invested. By the time she and Ted met, she wasn’t just a rando, and her getting with Ted seemed perfect. …and then the producers killed her off to make room for a relationship that stopped making narrative sense six seasons ago, thus turning her back into a plot device and cheapening her relationship with Ted.
