What do you do when you play live? It's proven hard to find band members so I'm thinking about going at it by myself. I sing and play guitar. I'm trying to find popular song backing tracks with everything besides vocals and guitar
After I left my last band at 28 in 2009 I quit playing for 4 years. I started this channel instead and never played to a crowd again. I actually have about 200 uploads over eleven years, just the production value worsens as they get older so I have most of them unlisted. However some can be found in my playlists, where it can be observed that in the first era I used a few drive pedals and sang into a pa but only had a camera mic; in the second era I used a ditto looper and played all the instruments to a song then started the video and ran over to play drums over top of my finished loop for a full cover; and in the third era I bought an interface and learned to be a producer where I fulfilled the original vision for the channel of having the screen split into quadrants so I could film the performances. I currently have equipment failure and am busy finishing an apprenticeship but plan a fourth era comeback where the video quality evolves now that I have good sound quality. In other words, you have to find your lane. I decided I was tired of bad band members but also tired of bad crowds. If you want to please a crowd but don’t want band members, I can only somewhat help since I only halfway empathize lol But in my experience there is always a way, even if it means learning those other instruments and making those backing tracks yourself. I’ve thought often of removing the vocals and/or guitars to songs I’ve already made and listing them as backing tracks just like what you are looking for, but until I get to 500 subscribers I want this channel to be bare bones favorites of mine unless one digs around my channel. Then eventually not only do I plan on making all my old clips public again but also on transitioning from mostly covers to mostly originals. Idk if that answer helps, but that’s my initial thoughts unedited.
