I need someone to make an Amélie edit to this song
Langosh Cliffs
Taylor Timothy Perez David Lee Shirley
Aguante la sopa knoor
Just found out this in 2024... I love you louis garrel.. I love your voice..literally addicted to this song❤
Basiba❤️🩹
There is a big mistake on lyrics correct is : "on dit que le destin se moque bien de nous" et non pas "la distance"
❤
Pior musicas do mundo
Bien manifique
trop difficile a chanter..!

Francês é chic.
I can imagine this song playing in a movie during a montage in which the main character remembers all the good times he had with his ex. Lol.
Que lingua linda mano, FRANCÊS.

I love this so much ❤
I love how her voice is raspy and low this song is such a masterpiece
Essa música linda me fez apaixonar por francês.
Beautiful
Wow
Found this song on a tiktok of a flying toy airplane ✈️ in a huge city like maybe New York. Watched the whole thing, then immediately looked it up here to see the English translation. Absolutely beautiful song. Could listen all day.
I watched that exact video :D
first heard this song on 500 days of summer
😌
"Someone Told Me" est une si belle chanson. Je parle assez couramment le français et je suis amoureux de cette chanson! Somedays, I feel like speaking French. I speak it fluently, and I love this song :)

french is such a beautiful language.
So wunderschön 🎀🌸
She's exactly the kind of First Lady all sides could warm to. Settle a war with a song.
Thanks
Even if you don’t speak croissant it’s beautiful to listen too.
I speak baguette and it's so beautiful indeed
sad for a Baker
lol I loved your comment! Thank you for the laugh!
Crossiant 😂
Quaso
😭❤️
Aham ... Sei
It's so beautiful that I'm crying.
I can listen to this song on repeat and never get tired. It’s THAT beautiful 💕✨
Me too. Do you know, did RUclips remove the repeat option or is it found somewhere else now?
French people saying anything: A Me: Oh Ouais! That sounded beautiful. Et je suis d'accord avec toi. Oui.
* Le destin pas la distance…….. 😉
This hurts so bad
Is 'I am told coats are made from our sorrow.' A French saying or phrase. What does it mean? I am an American and have never heard that phrase.
It's not "On dit que la distance" but "On dit que le destin". I was born french, I know this song and it's lyrics.
OK great I am so confused. Is 'I am told coats are made from our sorrow.' A French saying or phrase. What does it mean? I am an American and have never heard that phrase.
@@bebbenbaby5361 It's a poetic figure...you could have translate it "It clothes itself in our sorrow" or even "It cloaks itself in our sorrows"
@@madnad360 lol, which one. Those are two different metaphors. 'It clothes itself in our sorrow.' Would imply it gains wealth and power from our sorrow. Ex. Exon mobil clothes itself in our desire for ease and comfort. It cloaks itself in our sorrow implies it gains some form of secrecy from our sorrow, ex. ExxonMobil cloaks itself in our greed.
@@bebbenbaby5361 You're right, they have two different meanings. Poetry is open to interpretation and we can actually read and understand "Que de nos chagrins il s'en fait des manteaux" two different ways. Now it's up to you to choose the one that fits the most in your opinion:)
Ya, ok. Thanks for your permission. See, different cultures represent different items or features with different ideas and philosophies. I was asking if that phrase was a specifically french colloquialism with special meaning and you chose to be patronizing and unhelpful. Being patronizing is fine, but don't be patronizing and unhelpful. Now I know that you don't know. So cool. Could have just said that.
