This meter is a pos. I can’t even get it to connect to my phone by Bluetooth.

Going into it at 68 would make me nervous because for me when I’m that low I can get critically low within 5-10 minutes easily. I feel like I would have had to drink something before going under

The only good thing about Livongo is free test strips and lancets. The meter is supposed to connect with Teledoc using Tmobile. I can see a cell tower from my house, but meter has NEVER yet connected. The Iphone app is garbage and meter does not blutooth with phone.

Hi, just saw this video which was made 3 years ago, but I am new to Omnipod, TD1, and hypothyroidism. Both my sister & I inherited inmune disease and one of my nieces has a juvenile arthritis inmune disease. Is there a way you can re record your husband assist in applying Omnipod on back? May coming from back to avoid blocking the application? Having hard time selecting good sites & yes, stomach & side sleeper so want to avoid my side as well.

I would get an ice cream maker and make my own, if I were you, because that's what I've done. My favorite flavors, are coffee, Mint/Mintchip, Spamoni, Strawberry and Vanilla. All of which can be made with NO SUGAR ADDED, if you get the right ingredients!

Thank you so much for the infol - type 2 here, having a hard time - got sick with about 2 cups left to drink, took a break from it, feeling better, bm is clear pale yellow, it's time for my pm meds - don't know whether to take my long lasting Toujeo Insulin or not, sugar's at 140 - I put about 4 oz. of apple juice (sugar) in the miralax drink so it wouldn't go low. Procedure at 7 am tomorrow, debating on whether to take the Toujeo. Of course, at this time off night, on a Sunday, nobody to ask. Any suggestions?

I have low blood sugar from time to time. It was 66 at one point. I got it so low because I wasn't taking enough carbs, and too much exercise. I'm not diabetic. I drank 3 slushies, ate 1 whole pizza, and a big thing of coke. At 11 in the morning I checked it, it was 93. It's the magic of running lol.

Nice video, I use the Libre sensor with Blucon and love them for tracking my blood glucose values. The alarms are nice and loud enough to wake me up. You can adjust your GS ranges to whatever you want. The best part about blucon is that it updates the glucose readings on the phone and watch without scanning the sensor or pricking your finger.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. Beware of Livongo. One day this meter appeared with no explanation and my birthday present this year was a no connection message and a number to call. I called the number and the woman said she would look into it and get back to me. She never did. Now I have this crappy meter that takes a lot of blood to fill a strip, if the strip will absorb at all, and I have no way to recover my readings from the meter except to scroll through it and write them down, one-by-one. Thanks, Livongo, you scumbags!

I don't use glucose tablets I use smarties the large roll is just as good and taste better thanks for sharing

What is the actual sugar content? What I find is that even if things say "Sugar Free"; there is a log of alcohol sugar, which causes upset stomach and diarrhea.

I never could get the Livongo meter to read, it would time out really quickly. My physician could not get it to work either. Now using a GE100 which is a free meter through Price Shopper pharmacy and it works so much better.

Its not free, they are data mining and probably asked you many confidential medical questions. How do you know this company will keep your information secure since they are not part of the medical chain to be held accountable. They will probably track your readings and determine how to use that in the long run. Lot to give up to save a few bucks.

Nice video, I have NightRider cgm and Libre sensor for monitor the glucose values on phone without scanning and finger prick. Also, I share my glucose data as well as my food insights, activity data to my endo. I found all these features are very useful.

If you are young, active, only borderline Diabetic, and with no weight problems eating snacks with less sugar and starch may help you. I'm 76 now, and I can only keep my insulin level and fat storage down by not snacking, eating very little carbs, and having only two meals a day. I must change my lifestyle as I get older. It seems I need different 5 year plans for a sustainable lifestyle as I grow older.
