Hey hadlee, really liked this interview, I saw this interview on Dr s channel. Nice to meet you from India.
I have a question about leaning into the grief and not being able to come out the other side . . . I have been stuck in the trenches of it for Years I mean 7, 8 + years of just horrific anxiety, deep sadness, chronic loneliness, waterfalls of tears and sometimes rage anger. When I do let my self cry I will cry all night 4, 5, 6, 7 hours straight multiple times a week . I do find it when I do these things and lean in it feels as though it doesn’t stop for me. . . At least not in a reasonably time frame . Hours long just seems unmanageable and unrealistic to live any kind of normal functioning day to day life - which I haven’t been able to for quite some time now. I suppose I’m wondering how to actually move through this? Why can’t I seem to come out the other side ?

I’ve had chronic sinus issues for many years and I would like to try this oil. However, can you please tell me if any of the ingredients would worsen my insomnia. I noticed that the brahma powder is a stimulant.
That's a great question! I use this Nasya oil before bed and don't have any issues! But if you have pre-existing insomnia challenges I'm not positive that it wouldn't slightly stimulate. I would think though that it ultimately might make sleeping easier because your sinus passages are open. They do have a 90 day satisfaction guarantee where you can return it!

Great questions! Yes, it'll likely be most comfortable to do it on an empty stomach! And it's generally advised to skip on your monthly period because it's a time of detoxification already. However, some women like to continue this practice during their period because it feels nice or because their skin is dry and they want it to stay lubricated. In that case, I would just do a softer, gentler, shorter massage, just to get the oil on but not to start a deeper detoxification process.

Yes, sometimes it's about fully accepting the things we can't change, which can really open us up for so many more possibilities than we ever thought possible. And then also taking responsibility for the things we CAN change. And the good news is that willpower isn't actually the thing that's required to make long-term change. Instead, how can you start making tiny changes toward your goals/the things you can control?

@@trilljordan7958 great question! I definitely recommend going back to that exercise we did last week in HHH (I posted the video of that practice in our group forum). It's not just waiting out the emotion, but rather allowing the feeling that accompanies the emotion to expand and dissolve throughout the body, while also resourcing yourself so you feel safe to feel it. Definitely use that practice, it's really powerful!

Do you have a recommendation for post or pre workout oil massage? I tend to prefer to oil massage pre workout and then wash it all off after my workout along with the sweat - sometimes if I do the massage post sweaty workouts - I feel like I’m massaging the toxins from the sweat back into my pores but I’m not an expert on this! Asking for guidance on this… I’ve always wondered…
Great question Kate! I totally feel you on that. I tend to be a sweaty mess before I shower 😅 So my approach to that is just doing the self-massage after the shower - then it's more about moisturizing rather than pulling out toxins (which is more of what happens if you do oil massage before the shower, and then when you rinse the oil off, it pulls toxins out). I'm all about just doing whatever I can and not making it perfect! But I don't see why you couldn't do the oil massage before your workout! As long as you're not so soaked in oil that you're going to slip around where it's dangerous, and you don't find it uncomfortable to have the oil on while you're getting sweaty! I hope that's helpful. You seem to have a good system down for yourself!
