I get my 4.5 months old dane pup this weekend! I can't wait!

Medically speaking get them stapled. I lost my last one due to bloat. It is very painful for everyone. We were always very cautious about it, but it can happen. I miss you Gussy!

My boys were each attached to my hip. When I slept we were always touching. I miss them both dearly!

My greT dane/mastiff ...a rescue...has been the light of my life...I have 2 other dogs but I will never regret bringing him into my life. I'm elderly and feel very safe with my dogs

I think the Dane is the perfect dog for other people, and I love to interact with friend's dogs, but a giant breed just doesn't fit my life at this time. My medium-size dog (Norwegian Elkhound) fills up the back seat of the Crosstrek on road trips and he's the perfect heating pad on cold nights. Of course, when I was recovering from a hip fracture, the elkhound I had at that time appointed herself as my heating pad, hottest July in state history.

We have our second Great Dane, brave, loyal and lovely dogs. These are XXL labdogs for their owners. They are called Great Danes, but they are German Mastiffs.

I have always wanted a great dane, they are so smart, loyal and friendly/goofy. Great Dane=German Mastiff. Cane Corso=Italian Mastiff. There are over 14 different Mastiff breeds. Ancestor to the Mastiff=Molossus.

I rescued a dinky Dane. she is half Labrador and a half. Great Dane. So, she only weighs 55 pounds but looks like a great Dane and acts like a great Dane. Pure Velcro dog with an easy to take care of coat. She is convinced me to get a full size Dane in the future when she passes.

So sad they are not here long.

I grew up with great danes, with her natural floppy ears. I will never want another breed of dog. It only is heart wrenching that they have such a short life span 😞

I was lucky to get a good deal on a great dane I just paid for her shots and I also got to pick of the litter, one of my friends made a fatal mistake of having puppies and little did they realize they would have so many pups, so now I have a beautiful blue and brindle great dane

Thanks so much for this channel. We're still learning. We currently have two Great Danes that turn 5 months in two days. My baby girl Irie is no where near as calm as Roxy. Congrats on having such a well mannered Dane. My Koda is a lot like Roxy, he's much calmer and listens better.

I just got my first one 2 days ago. Tula is the light of my K-9 life. We also have an AmStaff, a "labradane", and a Dogo Argentino. It's surreal seeing my Dane puppy who's 8 weeks old, being smaller than the others knowing full well that in a matter of months she will be the largest. Danes are the best!!!

They are super smart too & respectful to firm & gentle commands. You can teach them to be calm and gentle around people who need that. They are so incredibly amazing.

We have had 2 Great Danes and they truly by far are the best family dog. Miss our girls so much. One was 10 the other one was 11 1/2 when we lost them

Ain’t got the space for Great Danes. But my old boss had three. Some of the best dogs ever, super loving and playful. One of my favorite breeds next to goldens.❤

Yes, they are watchful and when someone comes they give off a great bark. But what I like most about them after that bark and you're alerted they come right back to you and let you make the important decisions😂 not saying they hide behind you, just saying they are smart.

This video is a wonderful testament to how amazing Great Danes are !!! We have had 7 Great Danes throughout our lives. Molly is our current Great Dane and Molly totally enriches our lives. One sentiment I would like to leave. Lots of people speak of their shorter lives than other breeds. It’s better to have loved a Dane in one’s life, than not to have ❤❤
