long time zombie deck lover here. Tombstone Stairwell (IMO) is the most OP zombie card out there, especially if you like loading up your graveyard.

Corpse Harvester, Pontiff of Blight and Gempalm Polluter all might be happy to have a word for the maybeboard in upgrades. I'd also like to posit Zombie Ogre and Gorex the Tombshell as additional honorable mentions.

I have gotten butthurt for losing. I recognize this failing in myself. My bad behavior observation is when ppl lie in order to secure a win. I know some folks think it is part of the game, but it is just bad form and taboo at my kitchen table. My mtg resolution is to simply enjoy the game as a process, not a result. Even the tedious games present opportunities for me to practice patience and be a better person. Good video as always.

I need to stop building new decks and making changes to current ones. It's a great source of distress making so many adjustments every time my decks stall out. I want to make so many decks but I only have a finite amount of time to play them. Final Fantasy will be out later this year, Aetherdrift is already getting me excited based on names alone (come on, a guy named Speed Demon is a great name for a commander. Also frog mommy). It's not great fam!

One favorite card of mine that fits both the theme and has been in precons is Disciple of Bolas. Helps regain some life, and works nicely both the theft and reanimator themes!

OG Nicky B is not restricted to combat damage, if you can make him deal damage in another way his effect still happens. Making him far better than he actually seems.

I've been wanting to build a Rule: 0 precon like this but has Tezzeret as the character. I'm hoping he gets a flipwalker one day but until then, I'm going to run one of the dimir Tezzerets as the commander. I want it to play second-fiddle for most of the game & win by backstabbing/tricking the person I've helped.

For the playtest, I'm going to point out that Ageless Insight doesn't affect the Second Sun cards, as they're using draw steps to draw you cards. That aside, my Vorthos brain adores this. :D Edit: Since lore was mentioned... I've been building thematic, Vorthos-y decks for a _while_. Recently designed GU Eldrazi, and am trying to figure out how to make something for New Phyrexia that isn't just... slamming an Atraxa.

THIS looks actually really funny and cool and could be my first golgari deck. I had build Bhaal but oh god Bhaal sucks

I agree on principle but the biggest issue is more of players lacking threat assessment. At my LGS we have several people that only play CEDH. So the rest of us are just trying to have fun using some of the more mana expensive or slower sorcery removal that just gets shredded. The vast majority of us do not have a CEDH deck so we just try and kill them straight off. But they keep going over to new player tables or sitting down at a table with more new players and using them as a way to slow down those of us that know they need to die.

I agree with a lot of this however the being pissed off (or at least annoyed) I think can be valid when spite plays exist. It's inherent in a free-for-all but it still feels bad if you do happen to play particularly well and then someone decides to kingmake cause they can't win, ya know? I'd say it's still wrong to get upset, but I'm also saying I sympathize I guess.

I do complain about being attacked when the other two players are a clean attack and have threatened the attacker more than I have. But I don't get salty when I get attacked anyway. Basically I attempted to politic and it failed so oh well. Lol

I have three commanders deck for the companions Karlach is the strongest of the three with Hardy Outlander as the background I chose for her. The second one is Astarian which he doesn’t get a background but he’s still fun for a life gain pain deck. The last one is Laezel who I have the background of Master Chief which can with the right cards on the field make my creatures giant with 1/1 counters

At 17:00 you don't get to stack those. The cost to sacrifice puts the ability of shadowheart on the stack and triggers the blade ability which means you have to resolve the blade first.

Though no one asked, I haven't heard any content creators pronounce "Brigone" how I believe it would be pronounced in her native plane of Theros (a la Greece): if similar to the Greek tragedy and character of "Antigone" (an · ti · guh · nee) , then "Brigone" should be pronounced bri · guh · nee, though I'm not sure if the "bri" part should be hard ("br · eye") or soft ("br · eh").
