Important to note that Bello wouldn't actually make your Cybermen from Cybership or the Karnstructs from Simulacrum Synthesizer into 4/4s, since they all have mana value 0 and Bello only makes artifacts with mana value 4 or greater into 4/4s

I had the immediate thought to use Conqueror's Galleon as a rig. unfortunately, the format rules about DFCs are... _distinctly unusual_, resulting in deep oddities with TDFC boat.

This sounds really fun, it could a really good time after the Hot Wheels set, especially since its close enough to commander you could probably have a deck ready to go and just ask your playgroup if you can Rule 0 it for fun

WotC has zero trust. They have walked back any promise you can point to besides the Reserve List. So in order to understand your outlook on the future of MTG, you only have to think of the worst-case scenario, whether that's 6 UB sets per year, or your own personal favorite UB made using copious amounts of AI art. Are you still playing if that happens? If yes, then you have no reason to worry, you've already accepted the worst WotC can do. If no, then you know not to have hopes for the future of the game, whether you keep playing in the present or not. We've seen the past, so we know the future. WotC will continue do as they have done barring some kind of divine intervation.

Love your content. I'd like to see what a budget Kathril, Aspect Warper can do, between the amount of self mill with a bonus and multi keyword french vanilla cards we've gotten the past number of sets, there has to be a fun deck to be made there. Alternatively, I'd also like to see a meme deck with Hofri Ghostforge, utilizing 7 Seven Dwarves.

Would you ever consider doing a similar series to your $15 commander decks for standard? Like a super $15-$30 standard deck that can do decent at a locals?

I was debating about what Orhzov Vamp to build. Thinking about Flip Sorin, Clavileño, but didn't consider Elenda.

I had a great time at my pre-release too! At first, I built Jeskai Spellslinger but after I made Gruul stompy with Ghalta and Ruby I never went back lol. I kept hitting Llanowar Elves and it got gross really fast.

I have a very similar commander deck. Big gain big drain becomes just soooooo good with a 5/5 lifelink flier as a commander. Vizkopa Guildmage is such an underappreciated card. Also worth it to note that you can pay into its activated ability as much as you wish, which sets up multiple continuous sanguine bond type effects that stack. That's gross.

Remember that the Vampiric Link type auras can be used to neuter opponent's creatures. They don't give the creature an ability, they are a trigger that you still own. Also, don't be afraid to activate the VK Guildmage more than once, you can have as many temporary emblems as you can afford to pay for.

5:48 I have a similar set up in my Uril, the mistalker deck. Since they stack on top of each other I’ve gained more than 200 life in one swing without double strike and stuff like kediss (which just makes it so much more fun)

All I know is she’s going in my original Elenda deck in the 99 she was a Voltron strategy with aristocratic style of lifegain and now I have another piece to add and it’s cool my deck has more odd and strange interactions which I used before some commander card rules change I love this

The main issue I'm seeing is the cost of entry, the two player starter is fine at the $25-$30 range, but the collection at $50 or higher can be a hard sell.

I saw some peeps at my prerelease got the beginner boxes and I may pick one or two up as a) a collector item and b) to teach my mom.

I really love this set and it will probably be my excuse to try standard with some friends. The thing that bothers a bit to me is that there is not a starter suplement for commander. All the LGS in my area (I'm talking about 3) are mainly, almost uniquely, playing commander nowadays. And that's good, I am from the ones that prefer commander over 1v1 formats, and this product tries to tell you "ey, here you have staples for commander", but no help for that deck construction in the Starter Collection, knowing it is the main format of Magic rn. I know the focus of the product was not that, but the Starter Commander set with those beautiful affordable decks are out of stock or priced as luxury rn. This is also one of the reasons why I love your channel. I suppose it's better this way and in the future, now that WotC have full control of the format, to have a set like Foundations focused in Commander, but still have the weird feel in me with those 3 cards.

I love this set I got the Beginners box so I can use it to onboard people I got the Starter Set because I koved and need to rebuild the "basics" in my collection I went to several prereleases and had a blast And since this is a proper jumpstart set I got a box so I can have people play that with me (also so I can build a Jumpstart Cube later with the themes I enjoyed)

Had so much fun at the Prerelease! I made a second deck right before my last match, played it, and god I have never loved gruul stompy more than that.
