Pink Floyd - On the Run - Analog synthesizer cover
This is a cover of that Pink Floyd´s classic, using this analog gear:
Jomox xbase09
Doepfer Dark Energy
Doepfer Dark Time
Vermona Mono lancet
Eurorack synth...
Don´t be so hard with me. It´s not easy to play this song one handed..
Hope you enjoy!

Quick impro track. Hope you enjoy. The MFB seq triggers percussion modules and sends gate signals for the Dark energy and MFOS Soundlab modules. Z8000 sends CV for the D.E. A bit of bit crushing on hihat via Doepfer 189-1 module, controlled by an LFO. Not much more to say.

EXCELLENT!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
played x1.25 😁
It is so difficult to recreate a sound like that, cause it was in Roger's mind. I think he could not recreate this exactly sound twice, but you did! Very nice
Nice! Love the voices. I did this several years ago on an iphone using Nanostudio. ruclips.net/video/-d8pS4pmVcg/видео.html

Coolest thing I’ve seen all week!
holy fuck man, thats amazing!
Exceedingly good job!
cool. I wanted more
Whoa. OK. Pause - roll roll roll - light - puff - resume :-) Thumbs UP!!
Out of all the Pink Floyd songs I would have expected to hear a cover of this was certainly not one of them.
Basically, in the 16th note loop in "On The Run", it is basically a matter of increasing or decreasing HPF or LPF capacity, adding or decreasing cutoff or adding or decreasing bypassing in the basic 8-tone sequence. The basic sound for the 16th notes was probably either a pulse wave or a square wave.......
In one section of the sequence, I heard something like a delay cut-off, heard in such a way that every 16th note had its sustain or delay completely cut off, so it seems like you hear every 16th note (the effect is a really staccato feel in those notes) - as if you are singing that 16th note sequence yourself with somebody putting some alum in your mouth to make your mouth really shrink.....
goddamned kids these days with their autotune and their 808s... this is how we made music in the 70s!
Where's the voice sample coming from?
Great work !
Darude Sandstorm sounds great here
Mind blown. Cheers!
Dark energy 1 is good...
The camera about to crash with your giant watch at the end to simulate the explosion on the end of on the run
Amazing how you could do all this.
superb
this sounds amazing...although the notes are definitely wrong as someone else pointed out
+Sony Crocket yeah agreed, but it sounded pretty spot on. I'm jealous of the hardware you have lol
Wrong notes? Not sure. I think I just played it an octave or two down. Anyway, its such a pain to program a melody on those sequencers.
Skill. Skill.. Wow.
Thanks for all your comments!
bravo
Excelente
Wow you nailed it
nice :D
Who ... ? I say WHO is the one with the only f-in dislike ?
This song must have been so weird and different when people first heard it, what's normal today was crazy and strange back then, pretty cool
No it wasn't
I think it’s more original, crazy, and strange than anything put out today
Es muy original 🫵🏻🗿
dope!
Cool!!
Man this is top stuff!
where the rest of this great production?
Sounds great and you nailed the sound effects, but...aren't the notes wrong? haha

nah, i missed the end with the fireworks and everything explodes, hahah you're a beast man! cheers!!
Aha the camera shake at the end tops it off :3
Best cover of On the Run that I've ever heard! I attempted to perform it live once and it ended in DISASTER! Amazing job dude :)
