Your hp printer is held hostage by hp.Paid over $200 ,had it replaced 3 times,first time would not fax,2nd time a piece of plastic inside the machine broke while printing, 3rd time would absolutely not print or fax.Got disgusted and ask for a refund,they would only give me $65 back.Please do not buy this printer.Can we say "Class action suit"

Just arrived in the mail!! Holy mackerel what a difference in print quality compared to my old WF-7610. First and foremost, I'd like to URGE you folks who are contemplating on a printer... DO NOT GET AN ET-15000 OR ET-16600!!! It has to be "16650, with the 50 in it". Don't worry about if it's 16650 or 16650-U, they're the same printer, one just has an updated firmware (that firmware is optional, and only fixes an error that appeared on launch). OK onto my opinion about the quality... When I printed on "standard" or "vivid" on my old 7610, the quality was pretty dull. Sometimes I got white lines, even though the alignment was perfectly centered and there were no "missing nozzles" during nozzle checks. The reason it did that is because, "there were not enough nozzles" on these older printers. There's something important you need to know about those older printers, they had "2-chip" processing on the print heads. 1 chip for black and 1 chip for CMY and the resolution was much lower. The WF-7840 and ET-16650 have "4-chip processing" 1 chip for EACH color, which gives you a TON OF NOZZLES and higher resolutions!!! When I printed on "standard" on the 16650, it was of higher quality than "high" setting on the wf-7610, how crazy awesome is that??? Now I know some are considering the wf-7820/40 because it's a great deal cheaper and uses the same print head, however, you CANNOT use a CISS with it (unless it's the european model). Ink is expensive and runs out quick, those cartridges are no-good. Plus, you run into issues with it wasting media if you run out of ink mid-print. Give yourself peace of mind, get the 16650. Something else about the 16650 vs a CISS on a 7840. A 3rd party ciss uses "very thin tubes" and will give you a shitton of trouble (I struggled with this for so long with my 7610). The only 3rd party ink that ever worked with a CISS was Ross Hardie's inkjetcarts brand (which no longer exists), otherwise, cobra ink was too thick and often clogged, as did epsons t542 bottled inks because the part that connects the tube to the cartridges (the little L connectors) were way too thin. The 16650 has fat tubes that allow a lot of ink to flow into the dampers, and the dampers are also pretty thick. Even epson's own t542 inks will work beautifully. Keep in mind too, all brands have "lemons". You might see a few angry reviews on amazon for this printer, ignore them. Just because you have a bad experience doesn't mean "all of them" are guaranteed to be bad too. If you get a bad printer, simply return it and get a new one in exchange. Make sure to request "new-stock" because they have a tendency to send you a refurb. Once you get a good printer, you will enjoy it. It's well worth the trouble. GET YOURSELF A NON-LEMON BY HOOK OR BY CROOK! This printer will serve you very well.

The BEST CD printer is the Epson PX720WD with it's 6 colour cartridges and, more importantly, built-in automatic printing tray. Unfortunately it's 15 years old at least and has been superceeded by the BACKWARDS printing method we had in the early 2000's - manual tray and pi**ing about lining them up. By the time I've printed one disc with a modern printer, I've printed FIVE with the old Epson.

At this point I am confessed that this guy didn’t even try to upload this stupid video. If I am not wrong then the video should have mentioned bambulab or prusa XL. But instead there is some Chinese brands that will probably break down after using safe pla. BTW I know that bambulab is made in china but it not an off brand shit.

does it print 300GSM Gloss photo papers? I tried Brother printers and they do get stuck with such paper!! Please suggest Cheap, Home use, thick papers/card printer.
