This is what Karma means in terms those who don't believe can understand. There doesn't have to be some divine force magically making things happen, when you screw people over or hurt them, they and others who care about them hurt you in retaliation. They refuse to help, they hinder you, they spread the word to others who do the same. Like that one story about a boy who was SA'd by a Teachers assistant and was told "no one believes you". When she later tripped and fell down the stairs and was seriously injured and it was just him and her, he walked right by her leaving her alone for someone else to find. When questioned why he said "last time I told you guys something about her, you didn't believe me, so why would you believe me this time?" She harmed him, so he returned the favor later, and for the rest of his life, he is likely to treat her exactly the same. That is Karma.

So she came out crying and then told him that she failed to cheat and had been stood up? How on earth does that make sense. Only reason I can put behind it is that she either felt really guilty afterwards and came clean. Or she did cheat on him that night, felt guilty and decided to say she tried to hoping it would clear her conscious and he would forgive her

Not everyone with anti social personality disorder is a bad person. He may be perfectly wonderful, just experiences and shows emotions differently. Many sucessful CEOs and other top level executives are psychopaths who lead perfectly normal lives with decent moral compasses. Keep an eye out for red flags of course, but don't leave because they have a proclivity to the dark triad. Only leave if they actually feed the narcissistic and machiavellian traits, or otherwise make you worry about your physical safety.

Mental health is just as serious as physical. You wouldn't even think about what you should do if he broke his leg, it's an injury that needs treatment, he's not a bad person because his leg is broken, and you're not a good person for thinking you should leave someone after they have shown you love and care, just because you saw some words on paper.
