Triumph Bonneville Handlebar Wobble and How a Steering Damper can fix it.
Why does my handlebar wobble on my Triumph Bonneville? If you have experienced a handlebar wobble on your Triumph Bonneville while letting for a second, it may not be the tires, or the suspension, you just may need a steering damper. Here I compare how my Triumph Bonneville T120 handles with a Steering Damper. Also here is a link to one as well.

Want to stop wobble? Don't take your hands off of the bars. Seriously. The T120's design takes the mass of the rider's arms and shoulders into account, using them as dampers. There's never any legitimate reason to take both hands off of the grips. Just one hand resting lightly on a grip is all the damping that the design needs. Let's not go identifying problems that don't exist.

Nice upgrades. I went with the Triumph touring windscreen knowing that it won't completely shield me. It takes a good bit of the wind off of my chest which is a good thing when touring but I still get wind on my shoulders & face which is also good since the screen isn't adjustable. I used to ride FJR's with the adjustable windscreen so one could put wind on or off you depending on the temperature. I went with the Hepco & Becker C-Bow mounting brackets and bags. I have a variety of bags including one's similar to your Givis. The brackets also are very unobtrusive when bags are left off.

I completely agree with you. Years ago, I stopped riding when I had sons to raise and now that they are grown and I am comfortably retired, here we are. I was going to buy a Fat Bob but the sales manager was quite dishonest, so I visited a dealer that buys and sells a large amount of used bikes. Keep in mind that I still thought Triumph was long dead, yet when I walked into the store, there sat a black/white 2018 Speedmaster. I sat on the bike, it was comfortable, so I bought it. Now that I have ridden it for a month, I realize that the handlebars and seat I want are from a T120, I hate the rear brake location, and the bike is too heavy, feeling somewhat clumsy. To make matters worse a friend of 50 years, offered to give me a completely rebuilt and professionally modified Honda 750-4, and I thought this Speedmaster would be better, and it isn't. This thing will be decorating my garage, and I will buy a T120 or a Speed Twin. Anyway, many thanks for the video.

They have seals on them, I assume so, I've had them in some rain, but not in the storm.

Actually, they are called highway pegs, not forward controls. Triumph sells (quite expensive) forward control kits

Yes, more like highway pegs, correct.

I put the fox rear shocks on n made a huge difference. I will also put uograded shocks on the front. Was looking for highway pegs. I will try the ones you have. I currently have Burley soft luggage. I might upgrade,

Thanks for the comment. The Fox shocks are on my list for this year. I had Hagons, and took them off. Burley have a good look to them.
