Yes, the winds here in OK take out my corn. I tie them up and the wind blows them the other way. Sometimes, you cant win for losing but yes, we are blessed to still be here with our animals, in our home with food and comfort.

When jars are tight like that, run hot water over the lid for a good 30 seconds. Then towel dry as you twist the lid off. The heat helps expand the lid and reduce the vacuum.

That's a lot of garden. Is there an agriculture agent near you? They could help figure out how to help the peach tree and tell you what the worms are. We have an ag agent from Purdue locally in my area of Indiana.

Im glad that you are back. I've got radishes and tomatoes started here in northeastern Indiana. I don't can. I freeze stuff. My mom always froze things, but grew up canning stuff. Your view from your porch is very pretty and peaceful. It reminds me of where I grew up here. I can't wait to see what all that you get up to.

I love the first two colors of yarn that you’re choosing for your first sweater that you shared pretty. I do have a list of things I want to make this year, and I’m trying my best to stick to it. Could have been my phone, but I didn’t see the last sweater that you were showing. Your choices are wonderful.

I'm not so found of any yarn from Hobby Lobby. I would go to Palette yarn instead of using the Hobby Lobby yarn. (I think you will be happier with the end result using the Pallet yarn.) I often use Swish for crochet projects, and I never had a problem with Swish yarn. What beautiful sweater patterns you selected for your yearly plans. I seldom plan for the future works. I love Style Craft Special DC yarn, and Lucy's patterns are easy to follow. Lucy always seems to use Style Craft yarn for her afghans. I made on of her patterns for my son.
