beautiful
A french bourrée composed by Gilles Chabenat ..
I first discovered this band playing in my local park one Sunday afternoon. I fought They have a very infectious sound great band
Excellent !
Lépoulupé, c'est rigolo comme titre. 🕵️😉
i love your version, amazing:)))) thanx a lot
Thank you!
Wow! Vibrant players!
❤️
Nancy - Not Mediterranean but rather renaissance flavor. It could easily be Flemish, French, even German 14-15 c. An excellent, rousing performance! Terveisiä Suomesta.
French.....
Roma.
This rendition has a mediterranean flavor that I like! The camera work is superb considering there is only one camera operator. Well, done!!
Il serait tout de même nécéssaire de bien vouloir noter le nom du compositeur ! Il s'agit de Gilles Chabenat, magnifique vielleux, ami et musicien du projet IDEM.
Evelyne, you just need to click "Show More" ("Montre Plus") to reveal the nane of the composer. He is not an old man - he's same age as the Flatworld guitarist!
@@Flatworld She doesn't mean he's old, the name for a hurdy-gurdy in French is "Vielle" et un "vielleux" is a hurdy-gurdy player 😉
@@isabelleraby4779 Thank you, my mistake!
@@isabelleraby4779 ah good? Un vieil "leux" is a hurdy à roue player? Damned, fichtre, m'y goodness, c'est dingue! Les gilous sont les meilleurs ! 😋😁
Slava!
Composée pour être une bourrée droite.
well spoken, mr. bassman!
Wonderful arrangement and playing. The sound reminds me a little of Malicorne another great band
Thank you!
I fainted from pleasure. Thank you
Don’t worry. You can get treatment!
Excellent!!!
What is the name of red-hair fidler?
Her name is Georgina Clarke.
thank you
Wow that red head is a cutie!!!!
crested hens? what country is this from?
It was written by Gilles Chabenat, who is French. The second tune is a French folk tune.
@@Flatworld I think you should stop playing french music, it might show a lack of british creativity...at least do respect Renbourn and Friends 😁
I'm jocking of course, I'm a proud french folk lover.
ruclips.net/video/cEAdIjnedZY/видео.html Ajde Jano (acoustic cover)
It is good but he sings it as if it is 'Nights in white satin', while it is in fact a very cheerful song about a couple that decide to sell their house and then their horse so that they can dance the Kolo forever.
I thought you were about to burst into Georges Brassens' "Chanson Pour L'Auvergnat".
+irateofwatford Good idea!
Super interprétation de cette pièce composée par Gilles Chabenat.
One of the best interpretation of this song i'v heard~!
Masz rację, to fantastyczna interpretacja. Sama to spiewałam 20 lat temu w Kapeli Bałkańskiej w Przemyślu, w Polsce. .
Base of this song is slavic folk music. Not Serbian, Bosnian or Macedonian etc etc. Pure Slavic folk.
Hahaha comedy, like that ugly star!
..
...
+Vitruvianac Since you've studied serbo-croatian, you'd have to know that there's no difference in (standard) language all over from south Serbia to western Croatia. But still, this song is serbian, from southern Serbia, in characteristic 7/8 rhytm heard only in south Serbia and Macedonia.
...
belle interprétation tonique ... merci ! Thank you for posting it with the right title of the tune (i.e : in french !). Is there something to do between the name of your group and the tune composed by Andy Cutting ?
***** Yes, that's where we got the name from.
Someone mentioned speed.. Trying to imagine speed of our medieval music and particular song I personally believe that you were closer to the core, closer then anyone else. Good!
no NU STIU this is serbian song
Bravo! This song is ``The Heart of Balkan`` (Bosnia&Hertegovina , Macedonia) Greetings from Romania.
Nu Stiu OMG the song Ajde Jano is Serbian song! Not Bosnian, not Macedonian!
Bosna nema Janu...

@@brankobernardic9735 Tvrdim da i dalje nema Janu!
fantastic i like
I fell in love with this rhythm the first time I went to international folk dancing when I was 14. (now almost 60) No Balkan ancestry that I know. Just German, British, Celtic. My mother's brother liked "unusual" music. He died when I was 4, but left some LP's behind. I latched onto them. Otherwise, I mostly heard classical and traditional Catholic Church music. Some polka music. Ty for sharing the music. It is like walking into a candy shop to have the net-only music is much better!
od ovoga moze i da se rikne...BRAVO!
awsome
hi there. could you send me the music too? Been trying to work it out for myself but it's not going too well!
Bravo
HHAHAHAAHA :D bas tako :D
respect !!! Greetings from Serbia !!!
Awesome interpretation :) good work! much love from Belgrade ;)
Hi Paul, the second tune is Mazurka Limousin, traditional, we think.
Could you tell me the name of the second tune please?
Bravo,bravo! ''Ajde Jano'' is from Kosovo,Serbia :)
great instrumental interpretation, i really enjoyed it. it's an old song from my country and you really played it well! you had problems with pronunciation, but i don't mind it at all :) thank you for choosing this song, you have my admiration :)
ne tupi!
Razara i ubija !
A bit too fast, this is not trash-hardcore, play etno music, you need the spirit not speed.
...but your profile's email address does not work!
We've emailed you the music - hope you enjoy playing it!
BRAVO, BRAVO. From Trebinje, Republika Srpska! Cmok!
